Junior QB Devin Hayes added to his school record total of TD passes with four, making 33 on the season. All four scoring passes went to different receivers. Junior returning AP All State WR Nacarius Fant caught one of them, giving him 14 on the season and breaking the record set by current South Carolina WR D.L. Moore set in 2007. He also returned a punt for a score, and if memory serves me correct, that's four on the season, which would put him only one short of the school record set in 1931! It was the 26th win in a row for the Purples, equaling the school record set in 1995-96 and repeated in 1997-98.

 

The Purples will host Christian County next week. The BGHS defense has a tough assignment ahead of them since the Colonels have scored at least 34 points in every game this year and lost only two games by a combined total of five points!
