This will be the second straight year that the Vikings from Rowan County will travel North to Park Hills to play the Colonels.

 

Last year CovCath defeated one of the better (IMO) three seed teams in Rowan County in 4A by a score of 38-7 but from what I can determine, RC has lost a lot from that very good team!

 

Both teams lost last week CovCath to 8-2 Conner while Rowan County lost to then win less 1-9 GRC, so both teams will be trying to right their ships!

 

I look for a lot of scoring from the Colonels as RC has given up 340 points in their 10 games and this game will be played on a nice and dry turf field, on a beautiful forecast Saturday afternoon with a high of 61 with mostly sunny skies!

 

Your thoughts..... and hopefully someone from Rowan County will fill us in on this years version of the Vikings!

As I stated in a different thread, M. Way will play on Saturday. The KHSAA has cleared Way to play on Saturday as he was on the field as the CovCath punt returner and as thus didn't leave the bench as the stripe said he did!

My guess is you will be able to show up at any time today and find a good seat. Expected easy win + Saturday afternoon + team from 2+ hours + chilly temps = bad crowds.
