I think America could really use a President named Virgil.

In all honesty, I will most certainly vote on Election Day, just probably not for the office of President.

My exposure to Virgil is quite limited and I know next-to-nothing about his stances save for the typical party platform. But the limited amount I saw of him was all kinds of awesome!

Personally I feel a vote for one of the 3rd parties would help to show your displeasure. Between the six candidates is there not one you like?

I don't know a whole lot more. But your tweets about him the other night were great.

Been reading more on the 3rd party candidates. I already knew all about Gary Johnson but not a whole lot on the other three. But with Virgil Goode and Jill Stein I'm familiar enough with their party platforms to have a decent idea of their stances. Rocky Anderson on the other hand essentially created his own party so I know nothing at all about him. From my reading I've been surprised to find that I do generally agree with him and some things I really like. My only question is, how in the hell did he hold public office in Utah?

Somebody named Rocky is running!?! I'm definitely going to have to check him out.

About voting third party, I would be eager to do so if I agreed with the candidate on the issues that are important to me. When I vote, I want to vote for someone and not against anyone. If that makes sense.

Yep, you have a Rocky and a Virgil running.

TOTALLY makes sense. Way more often than not I'm voting against someone and it's not a lot of fun. It's very rare when I'm actually voting for someone. R.I.P. Gatewood

Besides the previously mentioned abortion issue, what other issues are important to you?

You seem pretty enthusiastic about Johnson. I'm curious to see how he fares nationally.

It changes, but right now those issues are spending, the deficit, & the tax system. I'm cautiously supportive of a national sales tax.

How about you? What issues have drawn you to Gary Johnson?

Civil liberties, spending/the deficit, über small government, drug policy reform are my big four.

In his time as NM governor Johnson most definitely "walked the walk" on spending. I don't think any other candidate is in the same stratosphere as him there. Was not afraid to veto bills.
