Holy Cross kept plugging away running their wide open offense but the talent disparity was too great.

I can't speak for Holy Cross but for Boone it was a bye week for the varsity and playing a game is better than not playing at all. And frankly, this is Boone's first win on the JV level so it was a smart decision by the Boone powers that be.
