I have heard that a lot of kids are dinged up going into the Central Game. I know Skinner left the game against us and was having issues with his ankle it looked like. But there were several others that were injured later in our game. A couple big men. I hope you guys can get healthy and play hard on Friday. Tates Creek is your biggest fans this week.

 

One thing about this team, they always seem to play hard. I hadn't heard about the injuries except for Skinner. Will see what I can find out.

Well. If Clark wins and Creek wins. We would then be tied at 2-1 with Lafayette for the district title. And we would hold the Tiebreaker seeing that we beat them head to head. Now, if Creek wins and Central wins, there is a 3 way tie atop the standings and it goes to a point system formula to decide the standings. And Creek would be relegated to 3rd in that scenario. So, the long and short is we need to Win, and we need you to win.

To add to that. If Clark were to beat Central they would be tied for 3rd in district, and Clark would hold the tiebreak and thus avoid Trinity albeit still having to play St X.

What tiebreak system is used in a 3 way tie? I thought it was the wins of the non-district teams you had beaten?

It's a point system based off of your 4 best wins not being one of the teams that is tied. Each wins those teams has, equals a point. The team that has the highest points gets the higher seeding. Creek can't win in that scenario.....Our best and only hope is that we win and Clark wins thus we would get the 1 seed. Lafayette 2 seed Clark 3 seed. Central 4 seed. If we lose we automatically get the 3 seed due to our head to head matchups with both Central and Clark.

I haven't heard anything on injuries for GRC (other than usual aches/pains near the end of the season).

 

A key for the Cardinal's (Other than turnovers/penalties) will be scoring early. They don't need to spot Madison Central any type of lead and then have to play catch up with pressure offense.

Skinner injured his ankle in the game and didn't look great coming out of the game. You may want to Check on his availability.
