Just about an hour before kickoff. Fans filing in. Dragons are on the field decked out in all navy. No sign of the Purple players yet.

It was mentioned in the pregame thread that there was some graffiti on the field. A very large BG sits below the interlocking WC in the middle of the field. Also one just to the left of it but smaller. Something to the right must have been worse because it has been destroyed.

Bowling Green caps a 75 yd drive with a 25 yd TD pass to Fant on 4th down. 7-0 BG mid 1st.

Dragons are moving as the quarter ends. At Purple 38. Not working the trap very well, one of their favorite plays. 7-0 BG after one.

Rondell Green INT sets Dragons up with best starting position at own 45. But they go back 15 yards and punt. Purples are killing on the blitz.

Purples settle for a FG after having first and goal on WC 4. 10-0 BG under 2 in half.

Honestly, this 10 point deficit feels like a chasm right now.
