North Oldham High School is coming into this season after losing five major components off last year's team. Four starters are gone and former Head Coach David Henley has moved on to the same position at Eastern High School in Louisville. The good news though is they return their leading scorer David Levitch and their new Head Coach is very familiar with the team .

 

Coach Chris Stobaugh has spent the last two seasons as an assistant at North Oldham before taking the reigns this year. Coach Stobaugh will look to run a much faster pace this year, employing a motion offense that will look to get his team easy looks both beyond the arc (where they excel) and at the basket.

 

Levitch will be their main weapon, the 6'3" 155 lb. 2013 SG hold school records for the most steals and assists in a season and is in the top five in a season for both rebounds and points. Levitch has been offered by Bellarmine and has also been offered a preffered Walk-On spot at Louisville. Levitch's goals for this season are to win the 8th region and make it to state, as well as improve his strength, ball-handling and defense. He also had this to say when asked about how having a new coach will affect North Oldham this season. "I think it will help, I like his style of play, up and down. And some of the people needed a fresh start."

Wasn't an official practice like what would occur after October 15th.

 

Was merely a generic term.

Coaches can have voluntary workouts. They can basically have practice, however, they can not make cuts until mandatory practice begins oct 15.
