Seeding vs Blind draw

Recommended Posts

They do vote. The problem is you have Bellevue, Dayton, Newport, Highlands and NCC. How do you think that vote turns out? That's why they don't seed the 36th. I'm not saying its wrong or right either way, just saying if you let them vote, the 36th will never be seeded.

Ok here in the 38th you have Harrison County, Pendleton County, Deming,Nicholas County. The top 2 have been Harrison or Pendleton but last season The Lady Devils ended up cutting down the nets, so seeding didn't matter then.

Deming was picked to be in the latter everytime to me it seems everyone tought seeding discussion would be brought up. LAst year seeding didn't matter, Lady Devils surprised everyone cause alot of people thought Nicholas County would knock them out, but it didn't happen, then the Championship game came, Harrison County was perceived being the winner, LAdy Devils won the Tournament.

Heres a scenerio:

Team A won every game with in their district maybe even twice, so that would mean by their record only that Team A is the #1 school to beat. Team B Team C and D jsut follow along as the season goes by and the end a team who didn't have as good as a record as Team A beats them in the District Tournament so all the prectioons by seeding don't really matter,as Deming proved last season it don't matter what you did during the seaon it's what happens at tournment time that counts, You can go all season and not lose a game but when you go up against a team in a game that is percieved to be a cake walk and you lose then that the seeding thing is of NO importance.
