I think it's more like penny-pinching. Last year Tony and Co. went everywhere to cover the Cardinals.

 

Love him or hate him, he was at nearly every game.

Coverage changed in the Somerset area when the districts switched. To many district games to cover with 3 schools, expense wise that is. I would assume that is the same with the Laurel area. As for football, they did the same here. When any of the local schools played each other their were 2 broadcasts.
