Who wins this Friday night battle & why?

Bell County wins this defense to dominate for Whitley.

This will be a good game.

 

Home field advantage will be key, Whitley is better than they showed verses Russell County, and they improved against Rock. I like the fact that these two teams continue to play, and it appears that they will continue to play. Bell is one of the "Gold Standard" teams in the mountians and you can never get to that level unless you play team like that.

 

Whiltey is not the same team as last year, and after the Bell game last year Whitley got better from having played that game and would have continued to improve but had some key injuries on the defensive side of the football. The Colonels are healthy coming into this game (pending practice this week)

 

Bell does have a great defense and that will be key, but Whitley is a bit more diversified than they were last year and thus tougher to prepare for.

 

The best thing about this game is it will be physical and hard hitting.

I just look for Bell County to be too much in the end for Whitley. I think that it will be a good game but in the end the Bobcats will prevail with their defense.
