Hopkinsville has the 7-0 lead at 3:09 of the first quarter. The Tigers score on their second drive. This is the first game for greenwood following the loss of their best player Tanner Thompson. Perhaps some hangover.

Greenwood turned it over on a bad pitch to set up Hoptown in Gator territory. Hopkinsville has a 2nd and goal around the 8 as first quarter ends.

The Gators hold Hopkinsville out of the end zone but the Tigers tack on a field goal. 10-0 Hoptown early 2nd.

I'm curious as to when the last time Hopkinsville even led in the 2nd quarter. Even scoring 10 points has not been common for the Tigers.

Hopkinsville forces another punt by Greenwood, but it's a fake that the Gators run inside the Tiger 10. Next play D'Andre Martin runs it in. Greenwood draws within 10-7 with 7 minutes left in first half.

Dyer hits Madison for the TD after Greenwood forces a 3 & out and the Gators have taken control here. 14-10 Greenwood. 3:06 left in half.
