Lloyd Memorial makes the trip down to central Kentucky on Friday night to face Garrard County in the Golden Lions' homecoming game. Lloyd has started the season with two close wins over Owen County and Dayton. Garrard County defeated Class 4A Clay County in their opener before losing a tight one to defending Class 5A runner-up Anderson County. These two teams met in Erlanger last season with Garrard romping to a 38-0 victory.

 

Questions to answer this week: Can Lloyd translate their success against smaller schools into a road win at a top 10 3A club? Can Garrard generate enough offense to take some pressure off of their solid defense? Will the long trip for Lloyd and homecoming for Garrard play a factor? Should be a nice matchup Friday night in Lancaster.

Lloyd needs to play solid football game in order to beat Garrard County. They have to stop making penalties in crucial situations and not get their TD's called back. The drive is 2 hours 15 minutes and should not be much a factor. Good luck to the Jugg's JD

This will be a good test for the young Juggernaut team, only a few Seniors starting on either side of the ball. Team lead predominantly by underclassmen with some good leadership from the Seniors that they do have. Will be a good test on how they will be able to compete in the 2A football this year.

I dont know much about GC but I read they have alot of starters back from last years team that put it on the Juggs! I hope the Juggs get some payback..Good luck to both.
