Kelan Martin adds interest with strong summer

Posted on July 13, 2012 by Rob Gates

Kelan-Martin0512-150x150.jpgThere are plenty of local kids playing well on the AAU circuit this spring and summer but one of the top is Ballard junior-to-be Kelan Martin.

The 6-foot-6 Martin plays for Indiana Elite 16s and has been solid, showing improvement in his strength and outside game during the offseason.

Martin currently holds offers from Western Kentucky, Tennessee Tech and IUPUI but drew a ton of coaches at the adidas event.

New Mexico coach Steve Alford has been to watch Martin several times.

Ballard should be very tough this season.

Should be pre-season #1.
