Yes and there are about 8 fields that are turf. I didn't traverse the entire complex, but the infields are all turf and the outfields are grass. We didn't get to play on them.

The Xplosion live up to their name in todays only game. The Minnesota Thunderboltz pitcher is throwing a "NO-NO" through 4 and the Boltz have a 3-0 led courtesy of 2 misplayed fly balls. However in the top of the 5th the Xplosion collect a few hits and plate 2, only to see the Thunderboltz put up 4 in the bottom of 5 to take a 6-2 advantage. Then in the top of the 6th the girls live up to their name and explode for a "6-pack" and hold on to win 8-6. They complete the weekend 3-1-1 and head off to Florence, South Carolina on Wednesday for the Hot Time Classic Showcase. They need to cut down on the "mental mistakes", in all their losses so far, a few errors were their demise.

The Stunners finished 4-1, lost in the super pool final to Duneland Flyers 9 to 8, they scored in their last at bat with 2 outs to win. The best hitting team we have faced this summer. They had 2 solo bombs and a grand slam in the game, and my kid it her first of the summer a 3 run hr. Headed to ASA State next week.

This is is a big weekend for showcase tourney's. There is the Demarini in Chicago and the Legacy in Atl. Both will have upwards of 100 coaches. In the Demarini they only have around 40 teams and the 16 and 18U's play together and all the games are at one complex. We are there this weekend, wish my daughter could have played in it 2 years ago. The 18U Sluggers will be at the Demarini and our team plays them Friday morning. The 16U Sluggers will be at the Legacy.
