I believe you are right sir. She it two run homerun yesterday in her first at bat then was pitched around the rest of the game. She has been pitched around fairly consistently but still has good numbers at bat.

Clyde, Smith has been pitching JV. Cassidy Souder, their JV pitcher, hurt her shoulder and is unable to pitch for the rest of the season.

I do not believe Smith has reverted to a lesser pitcher or there is another pitcher that is really better. She is still a great pitcher IMO, however, I do believe she is a very versitile player and can play many other positions. Positions that need to be filled for Ryle right now. Currently she is playing SS. However, they do have another pitcher who throws very hard and is very good that is now pitching. Smith is a stud and can play anywhere on the field and hit as well as anyone in NKY.

Have no idea about Morehead's new coach but he has to be better than their old coach. Seems she really did a number on Morehead, left them high and dry for a school that is just starting a program. I believe she took all her unsigned recurits with her and somewhat bad mouth Morehead on her way out. Morehead was left scrambling for a new coach and had no future recurits. She was the first the first to offer my daughter her freshman year and thank goodness my daughter was not interested in playing for her.

 

Sorry to be long winded, anyway good luck to Ginn I am sure if the situation is right she will end being a real productive at Morehead.
