Good game, only a couple of errors. Ray Everett did a good job after giving up a lead off triple and really battled despite not having great location. CC had runners on first and third late in the game and had the runner on first walk off the bag to get in a run down and the runner on third ended up getting picked off third...questionable call, but a poorly executed attempt, and they never threatened again.

Wells finished the game for the eagles and threw the ball well great location and I was talking to one of the parents and they said he has done that alot this year, I don't remember hearing his name listed in the pre season.

Wells is a guy that gets lost in the mix of other guys because he can play multiple positions and their are some guys at his positions that are hitting the ball better than he at the moment. When Ohmer went down to a injury they needed a arm to step up and Wells stepped up and gave pitching a chance and really does a nice job in relief and really helps give them depth.

How can a kid that is that talented get lost in the shuffle, I understand the not hitting but you can't take a good glove out of the game and have errors and allow unearned runs if the hole team struggles hitting, I herd wells was doing his thing again against HC Saturday until the rain came 0 0 in the 5th inn is that true.

Yes he did well against HC. Good location, he's been a solid part of the rotation. I'm not sure how anyone thinks he got lost in the shuffle. He's been playing multiple positions all year, pitching well and has been a big part of Scott's early success.

Thanks for the info just hate to see kids who do well go unnoticed and im sure if he continues he will get his exposure.
