Who are going to be the top teams and players in the region?

Top teams: Perry Central, Knott County Central, Breathitt County, Hazard, Powell

Top Players: Braxton Beverly, Dalton Cornett, Camron Justice, Alex Hamilton

I have to think that Knott Co. Central will be the favorite. And at the state tournament there was all sorts of rumors that Beverly was transferring there and that no one knew what PCC staff was going to be.

How can you have Powell County as one of the top teams? They lost a ton. Conner, Dennis, Pelfrey, R. Goodwin, J. Goodwin, Monnett. That's a lot to lose.

 

Estill County, Lee County and Owsley County return everyone. Estill returns all but 2 (including the whole starting lineup).

Marcum is a very dangerous three point shooter, if he get's going he can fill it up in a hurry but Powell won't be as good as they were last year, they just lost a lot but they do have a good group coming up and that district tournament will be at Estill County this year.

I'd say that Estill will be Pre-Season #one because of who they return but it will be up in the air. Owsley returns everyone and has a new coach, Lee returns several key players. Estill returns there entire starting lineup.
