Some people just love to complain without knowing the facts.

He was given a full physical before he signed, passed. He took another physical at the very start of Spring Training, passed. The MRI and testing done on his elbow showed it was a very recent tearing of the ligament, meaning it happened in the past couple days. Bad luck, simple as that.

Per the first post of this thread he had not thrown a pitch due to irritation. Do they give pitchers MRI's doing these physicals that teams do? I have no idea just curious.

^ He had an MRI before signing the contact. It was fine. Dr said it happened during ST most likely in the last week or so. The article in the first post in like 3 weeks old. He threw in ST just not in games.

So your saying he had irritation, and they let him pitch (on the side I assume, not in actually ST games) and he tore something?

No it was bothering him he took time off and said he felt fine to pitch again and he pitched some on the side.

So you always act like a child when you see someone else act like a child?

not always.

Seriously, I got tired of every Cardinal thread having that in it.

I am not the only one that responding with that.

One thing the Reds can look at is the Cardinals from last year. They went through several closers and still got the job done. The Reds have some options and should be okay.
