  1. Everyone talks about the problems stopping Dawalt but I think the really problem will come on the other side with Grant finding a way to stop Rassman.
  2. Simon Kenton with another early exit. Certainly seems to be a trend at this point.
  3. Wow!! I can’t remember the last time you’ve had another 31st district team Ranked in front of Gallatin. Personally I disagree and I think Gallatin will prove that this week. Personally think Carroll beats Henry and then Gallatin wins it all Saturday. I understand why you have it like this in the rankings. Gallatin did split the series with them and now with the Gallatin tumble it is understandable.
  4. Rassman is getting overlooked due to other top tier guards in the region that are playing at the D1 level in the future. Any school that adds Rassman to a roster next year is making an amazing decision for their program!
  5. Gallatin has had SKs number for the past few years but not sure they can keep it up. Gallatin needs this win badly.
  6. Congrats to Jarin Rassman! Truly a very special player. Last week I thought very highly of this Gallatin team and really expected this to be the time for them to get hot. With this being there 2nd loss in a row and not exactly an easy schedule coming up (at Spencer, at Lloyd, home vs SK). With that being said Gallatin has still all but guaranteed there spot in the 8th region tournament by nearly locking up the 1 seed in the district. These next few games could tell a lot.
  7. Somerset started out with a big lead due to a very cold start by Gallatin. The Wildcats seemed to struggle with the size on offense early but seemed to figure it out late in the second. Would say Somerset lead by at least 12 early in the first but Gallatin got it back to 5 to end the half. Gallatin looked much better coming out of the gates in the 2nd half and was even able to grab the lead at one point. Was a very competitive and good defensive game during the second half. With 3 minutes to go it was very easily anybody’s game to win. Somerset was able to get the ball to fall a few times in the final minutes which caused Gallatin to panic it seemed. Somerset is a good team and if there shots start to fall later in the tournament could very easily win the tournament. Gallatin also showed that at points could be a very good team and potentially make a run later in the year. Congrats to Somerset!
