  1. I don't know of a single federal government employee or contractor who does not have a personal email account. Most also have private Facebook and LinkedIn accounts as well. Trying to compare what Hillary Clinton did to people who have private accounts that they use for private, non-work-related communications is ludicrous. Under normal conditions, personal accounts should not be used for government business, but there are sometimes when it is acceptable, IMO. Private cell phones, texting, etc. is sometimes used when it is not practicable to use government networks. For example, when inclement weather strikes, phone calls between private numbers or private texts are used to ensure that everybody is aware of office closures or delayed openings. Another example is the use of a private text, email, or phone call to reach a government employee to let them know that you will be unable to make it into the office, will arrive late, or need to reschedule a meeting. So, there are some situations where using private email accounts to communicate to another government employee or contractor with a government email account is perfectly reasonable, appropriate, and legal. What Hillary did was none of the above. If Pence used his email account to conduct business, then there is a good chance that he violated no government policies or laws. If he did use his email account inappropriately, I doubt very seriously that, as Governor of Indiana, he even had access to the kind of classified documents that Hillary had on her private server. If he did what Hillary did, then I will support his impeachment and incarceration. If he is as guilty of Hillary's crimes, then I will even support making them prison cell mates.
  2. The fact that the Obama administration made at least two requests for the FISA Court's permission to wiretap members of Trump's campaign team should be a huge scandal. The fact that the first request was rejected does not make it any less of a scandal. This is the electronic equivalent of the Watergate break in.
  3. General Flynn threw his support behind Donald Trump before any other high ranking former military officer. A strong leader does not reward that kind of loyalty over such ridiculous allegations. Trump made a mistake in dumping Flynn - a big one - and he will be paying for it for a very long time.
  4. Trump is terrible at using surrogates properly. I agree that he spends to much time drawing attention to himself. Fortunately, the Clinton campaign did a very poor job exploiting that weakness, but Clinton still did a much better job using surrogates to rattle his cage than he used against her.
  5. Is calling your opponent in a debate a liar a sign of intelligence? If so, then I will take a pass, Clyde.
  6. Spoiler alert!!! Computer geek satire at its best. :lol2:
  7. If what Pence did was funny to you, then you must have been rolling on the floor over Hillary's willful negligence.
  8. Pence had no private server. There has been no allegation that there was any classified information sent via his private email account. There have been no allegations that Pence destroyed emails as part of an elaborate cover-up. Yeah, just like Hillary's case. :lol2:
  9. You have managed to insult two members on opposite ends of the political spectrum in one short sentence. That is quite a feat.
  10. In case you have not read any of the articles (which appears likely), many Democrat Party leaders, including Nancy Pelosi and Claire McCaskill have already been caught lying about meeting with the Russian ambassador and other Russian representatives. What I find ironic is that liberals constantly rail about the need to negotiate with the Castros, Iranian terrorist leaders, North Korea's regime, and other despicable individuals and regimes, yet have manufactured this scandal over Jeff Sessions meeting with the top Russian diplomat in this country, despite the fact that most people in Congress have also met him. Session was a U.S. Senator and part of the job was to meet with foreign diplomats. The objective of "all of this Sessions stuff" is to undermine the Trump administration. The Obama administration began planning and laying the groundwork for this "stuff" as soon as it was clear that Trump won the election.
  11. Do you mean setting up servers in their basements, moving classified documents off of secure government servers to their unsecure personal servers, and destroying documents that are subject to subpoenas? Or are you equating having a personal email account to handle personal email traffic to taking actions to undermine national security and facilitating violations of the Freedom of Information Act?
  12. I hope the lesson that Trump takes away from this manufactured scandal is that appeasing anti-American liberals by throwing one of your own to the wolves only encourages them. Trump throwing GEN Flynn under the bus was the first big mistake of his presidency. The question is, will he continue to make the same mistake, or will he start playing offense?
  13. In my experience, not many women excel as programmers. The jobs are there for qualified female developers and the ones with whom I have worked have been good ones. My current project officer is a woman, our QA/QC tester is female, and our receptionist is also a woman. However, out of about 25 developers and network administrators. The most talented programmers with whom I have worked have been men and the majority of them were born in India. The schools in this country are not producing enough qualified men or women to fill the demand for programmers. However, I do not believe that the government should be spending money recruiting anybody into a particular field based on their sex, race, or ethnicity. Women are already earning college degrees at a much higher rate than men are. If we must have a Department of Education, one of the things it should be doing is encouraging all American students capable of filling high paying technical jobs to develop the appropriate talents for those jobs.
