  1. So, is it your honest assessment that Conner was not conditioned well enough to compete with SK?
  2. He had a bum leg and couldn't move very well. He was out of position frequently. Threw several questionable flags, including the roughing the kicker.
  3. Intent can be inferred. The problem is that #8 went high and never attempted to wrap up #11. That's gonna get flagged 90%+ of the time.
  4. That's good for #13. They asked a lot of the kid handling off to him in the endzone with one hand/arm completely taped. Should be a really interesting game.
  5. This. And, your 2's get to practice 1 position all week and get better faster. Highlands D is frequently mushy during the first few weeks. A lot of guys rotating through the D backfield. That will get better.
  6. The Coopers of the world better focus on beating SK and Ryle too. Another win over a team in a lower class might give the Coopers some bragging rights, but it does nothing to move them along the road to a 6A title.
  7. Well, then whoever made the decision for Cooper to go to 6A has to be regretting it -- if he or she has ever fessed up. I think if HHS were given 100 chances to make the decision to play in this 5A division or go to 4A - where "the numbers" would put them -- I think they make the 5A decision 100 times. If that means that you get beat sometimes by teams that have historically been mediocre or worse, then you work harder and move on.
  8. Who in this article actually says Gosney will be the starting QB?
  9. What does that mean? There are no other lineman or there are 9 total O and D linemen?
  10. Wow! You'd think that Ryle had been practicing the events for weeks.
  11. Seems like more of a Catholic vs. non-Catholic education decision for mom and dad.
  12. Sorry for the late response. Was traveling. Looks like NDA for soccer for one, and next year (2107) my nephew will be at either NCC or HHS.
  13. I'm a lifelong Northern Kentuckian who divides time between NKY and Florida -- for work, not --usually-- fun. I look forward to reading about NKY sports as I watch nieces and nephews participate.
