  1. Have to agree also Shorty is good but has along way to go to be best in region.
  2. Atilola is eligible 100%! He has been playing all summer with the team. I saw him play when he first got here and got a chance to see him the other day. He is alot stronger and game has improved in huge leaps and bounds! He will shock alot of people. His mid range jumper is money now! Can shoot from the free-throw line and thats where he will spend alot of time!
  3. I don't see a certain someone hopping on christian county because Jalen went back to play for them saying hes not gonna be eligible and etc etc etc, but if it happens at Hopkinsville High they are low down dogs.
  4. This school he went to is a really good juco school! Think the team went 22-4 last year! WKU was interested in him and probably would have signed him but was going to redshirt him his freshman year. Matlock wanted to be able to play immediately. Out of all the people on this website I have never seen someone bash a certain school as much as above, nothing good to say just hops on here when its time to talk negative. Be happy for a kid who has a chance to do something with his life and has a talent in a sport. So what he didn't sign with a d-1 right out of high school.
  5. Good game by Taylor County! They should be one of the favorites to start the season next year! A month ago i would have told everyone Hoptown was gonna be lucky to make it out of the region, just wasn't playing team ball. The blowout to Trinity really woke them up and showed them they have to play together to win. From watching them all year long I will say they have hit their peak right now. Will that be enough to get past the interior size advantage of Owensboro? We shall see.
  6. The hoptown team is totally different than last year but this is a video of taylor county at hoptown last year. Maybe you all can see how matlock was used in this game. Taylor County vs Hopkinsville - HS Boys Basketball 2013-14 - VIDEO | KySports.TV
  7. Biggest thing that stands out is that matlock plays like he is 6'8.
  8. Matlock is 6'6, most others that play are around 6'0-6'3. Cj might 6'4-6'5. Two small guards in hatcher and cager.
  9. I am pretty sure Austin Peay has offered him!
  10. I also feel stopping Simmons isn't the key to beat Henderson. If a team stops the three point onslaught they put on and make those shooters feel uncomfortable Henderson will be vulnerable because Simmons wont be able to do it by himself against Hoptown, but if they are hitting from outside the night will be Henderson's.
  11. I agree 100% no love will lost between them, it will be a battle! I watched the first matchup between them, Hayworth really didn't find a lineup that he felt worked the best until the 4th quarter when hoptown pulled back and almost won. Im going with Hoptown this time. Hoptown 72, Henderson 68.
  12. I'm not going to argue with you Greenville I find my sources very good and very very close to the team who knows it could be some of the staff that sits on the bench every game, and I'm not knocking your sources either Greenville. I'll say come time to suit up 85% chance Gray will be in the orange and black. I'm just here giving the information I have been told. It almost seems to be that you don't like Hoptown like chardun stated above. Your screen name is Greenville maybe hinting your from Greenville and last I checked you all have a basketball team.
  13. ok. just made a phone call to check up on ledonald. he is currently ineligible as greenville said above. Reason is that uha isn't wanting to release papers on him. Same thing happen with poindexter last year. They released gary's papers. this issue should be resolved within the upcoming weeks. When i hear something I will fill you all in.
  14. I work akeem out some here in hopkinsville, he is a really good kid!
