In defense to Lloyd they have some issues that needed to be corrected from what I have seen... when a play offensively is wide open they have to be more aggressive. They are need to overwhelm the safeties and just flat out run NCC. NCC would be fools to play that type of. Speed up close they are going to give up the inside/outside zone. The key is keeping there d line in check. Lloyd just needs to put a hat on a hat.. there qb does not like to be hit. Conner proved that so the key is Pressure and keep the big plays in check.

I don't think conditioning at Holmes was the problem...Holmes is a well conditioned team... Johnson is at his heaviest I have ever seen him at... If he got beat in double or triple team still I would be firing him and the linebackers... Just my personal opinion...

they lost 2 games 94 team lost one state finals game .... Also athlete wise 94 team just didn't have Shaun there were weapons all over the field . The 94 team had 8 players who were sub 4.5 40 who played both ways... Special teams no one would respect or kick the ball deep... The Louisville teams played us on a short field because they knew we were 3 yards and a cloud of dust

You guys are crazy to think that the1987 team was better than the 1994 team... The 1994 team was the only Boone co team to ever go undefeated and loose in the state game../ all respect to the runner ups...

He has a lot of hard work to put in still... This was a serious downgrade in competition for this young man... You cannot go from 4a the toughest district in the state to 2a where NCC has ran through the competition every year... I believe he needs to learn what the big picture in dedication to team is before he will truly Succeed!

Patients is key.... You so not win with a new coach right away unless it's the exact same system is in place....I will give them one more down year... The head coach needs to reach out to the youth leagues to get his program flowing in the right direction.

Holmes...by 2 touchdowns... This Holmes team is more disciplined and the speed also plays a factor in this game... Scruggs is by far the fastest running back in NKY. But do not sleep on the trenches Holmes has big athletic ball players who can make plays...
