  1. Cal has now put in his house up for sale on Richmond Road for $3.99 million.
  2. We will agree to disagree once again. McBride for the Knicks was right beside Maxey all the way up the court and had about 3 to 4 seconds to foul in the back court before Maxey hit the 35' three pointer to tie the game. It was a very tough shot but it is not harder than hitting the first FT then intentionally missing the 2nd one and then getting the rebound and scoring to tie the game that way.
  3. Defensive lineman Jay’viar Suggs from Grand Valley State at the Division II level has heard from many schools, but the Cats are making a late push. The 6-foot-3 lineman has received offers from 37 schools, but Kentucky Sports Radio reported that Suggs is making a trip to Lexington for an official visit. According to Warchat.com, Suggs holds additional scholarship offers from Florida State, Miami, Louisville, Wisconsin, TCU, and Iowa, among others.
  4. Reds lose last night 6-4. Martinez now 0-2 on the season gave up 5 runs (3 earned) in 5 innings. The Reds will try and win the rubber match this afternoon with a 4:10 start.
  5. That is correct. It should be 3-2 Knicks and it is. However, the officials played a role in game 2 in the Philly loss and this one last night was pretty much on the Knicks players and coach.
  6. Stephenson sick??? Finally starts hitting and now sits out 3 straight games??!!
  7. Knicks D at the end of this game has been worse than Ky, NO way this game should’ve got to OT!!
  8. Agree Still think we’d be better off in the long run with McClain or Arroyo at ss and Elly in center
  9. Some of these guys are gonna have to start hitting or lose some weight!!! 5 guys in the lineup at .200 and below, that’s embarrassing, one lineup last week had 7 guys in it below .200!!! Please give Thompson his DFA!!! He is absolutely pathetic!!
  10. Glad we didn’t give Mahaney a counter offer when he came back to Lexington
  11. This was posted on Kentucky Wire yesterday evening. I am glad that Coach Pope is looking to the future while working on this years roster. Kentucky basketball makes offer to 2025 recruit Darryn Peterson. Mark Pope is still working on a roster for the 2024-25 season for Kentucky basketball. However, he is also hard at work on the 2025 recruiting class. He has contacted top overall player A.J. Dybansta, and is in the running for Will Riley. Now, he has also made an offer to the third overall player in the class in Darryn Peterson. Peterson in a five-star shooting guard out of Huntington Prep in West Virginia. He has good size at 6'6" and nearly 200 pounds, and is the top shooting guard in the class. Peterson has offers from a lot of the top programs, including North Carolina, Kansas, Ohio State, and others. Peterson's father has previously said that Kentucky was his son's dream school as a kid. Whether or not that will factor in now is unknown. The biggest question about Mark Pope's hiring was if he would be able to recruit top players. The answer to that won't be known for a while, but it's good to know that he's working hard at it.
