  1. St X staff has thrown 4 striaght shut outs against South Oldham, Owensboro Catholic, Perry Meridian (IN), and Bullet East. Tougher challenge at Lex Cath on Thursday
  2. All things being equal, I'll take the 90+ mph pitcher who has demonstrated they can throw strikes and take my chances at the high school level.
  3. 58Bulldogs - - The Padre's had a scout at the scrimmage and the reading was off of their gun!
  4. Matt Spalding hit 95 mph multiple times last Saturday during an inter-squad St X scrimmage
  5. This was never intended to be a negative - - - - Once again, Matt is a GREAT baseball player. The initial response was to "how big is Spalding". Everyone knows he has a great arm and will be the key to St Xavier's season next year. Just trying to give an accurate answer to his height.
  6. Terrific Examples. Matt is a terrific baseball player and has unlimited potential. I'm just amazed at how people travel and watch players and then have no idea of their actual size.
  7. That's good news for St X since he was 5'10" this past spring as a Junior
  8. Spalding is about 5'10". He is a great athlete
  9. jimmyref: slight correction to your post. Glaser did not compete with fall baseball for a potential starting QB. The person in question was by far the top QB Freshman and Sophmore year, however, Glaser was the person who told the player his services as QB were not needed at St X.
  10. Problem is -- they were the ones talking the most smack -- Congrat's to the X Seniors who beat the best coach in high school football!
  11. When the majority of them got the chance to actually play---some didn't -- they lost
  12. You are obviously not a Senior on the THS 2009 team.
