  1. OK. Then don't. This T freshman class has some talent on both sides of the ball which shouldn't be overlooked or denigrated. Did X look good last night? They looked very good. However, on behalf of some Trinity boys who played their hearts out in the only game of the season that is all about anything for them (a/k/a "school pride"), and since the freshman schedule means nothing anyway, don't talk about what Trinity lacks. Talk about the things that X did right, please. See you tonight at the game that DOES mean something.
  2. I think its what's known as HEART. It is, for me, the thing that makes high school football a sport second to none. The true measure of a man is taken on the field. We watch boys become men in the face of adversity. Love of the game and the will to win are things that cannot be taught. They are either in your heart or they're not. It's an awesome thing to witness when you see every ounce of heart being spilled out on the field on game day. OK. OK. Too poetic? :laugh: I'll shut up.
