  1. How about you start us off with your thoughts first? :p

Raceland can and will go 8-9 deep, Coach Floyd has no fear about foul trouble so he presses from the tip.If Sparks or Boyles get in foul trouble it hurts the Rams, but doesn't kill them, while if Thomas gets in foul trouble it could get ugly IMO// Raceland usually shoots lights out at home like most teams, I have no idea how much it hurts Ashland not having Rowe and Scaggs but it sure doesn't help. Raceland is fine tuning now for what they hope is a long run in the post season and the way the 64th is stacking up Ashland is looking at a free for all against Fairview in the 1st round. also if I'm not mistaken Ashland has GRC Friday night before the Raceland game, another real tough game. My prediction

    Raceland 68

    Ashland 59

    Very cute kids LCRW

  2. There are alot of sophmores coming up to be great players for Greenup. Greenup is going to be the team to beat for the next 3 years. Greenslate, Staten, Reed, Rice, Hardin, James are going to play a great role in the 08 season. Hardin and James coming up from JV last year have improved great from the fall.

I guess Ashland, Boyd, East, Russell, Rowan and Raceland probably won't even field teams with this knowledge so I guess your right Gc will just walk through the 16th

  3. This piece of legislation is another example of how Republicans in this country have moved away from being conservative.

This is Big Brother at its finest and most active.

Drug tests costs a lot of money and are absolutely fraught with mistake and rife with the potential for fraud.

Most of what we call the "welfare" program, as it currently exists, is administered statewide by the Cabinet for Families and Children. When folks sign up, they will notice in the fine print that they are subject to random requests for information including drug testing. If they accept Passport medical care they give up the right to privacy of their medical information, as it concerns the government.

If there is an individualized suspicion of drug usage by a recipient, then they can already be tested. This legislation is nothing more than a PR stunt to rally people who are generally opposed to welfare to battle cry against it. If this legislator had any guts at all, he simply would propose scrapping or scaling back welfare benefits.

Finally a voice of reason from a forest of "There's nothing wrong with the goverment watching us. Are we granted freedom from illegal search in the constitution?Yes. Is checking my bodily fluids an illegal search?Yes. Is drug testing at least 95% accurate? No. Would you like to lose money or benefits for something done illegally to you and for something you didn't do?NO

  4. The SAE house at Univeristy of Evansville is really nice. It's really clean and orderly as well. I've never been to any others, though...so maybe it's unique????

The SAE's always had the money at every college not like us poor TKE's, but I wouldn't change for the world

  5. Since most of the state believes from Lexington east is part of another state Rachael Vanderhoof does not get her do, she is 5'11 started varsity since Jr high will graduate in 2009, if she can get healthy as the all time leading scorer at Raceland, she averages over 25 ppg and double digit in rebounds. Academically she will be able to name her college, but still should be in consideration for Miss Basketball, an I think those that have seen her play would agree
