I don't know for certain, but I would guess Motz is more than likely the company. They're a major national player in the sport turf market, but they're also local to Cincinnati, so they aren't going to be figuring in travel per diem costs with their bid, so their cost is probably lowest to do the Boone County schools.
When I was still a project manager with a GC up in Cincy I did do fields for a couple of local schools where Motz wasn't the low bidder, though, so it's not necessarily an automatic lock that they get the job.In my very limited experience with Motz, they have been great.
Who are some other companies that you have experience with and how would you rate their product and service compared to Motz?

Which company is doing the turf install for the 4 Boone County High Schools?
Motz seems to be most used turf company in our area???

This article does a good job covering the mask debate. There are scientific studies happening but results have not been published yet. The anecdotal evidence says wearing masks is effective. As the article states at one point, we don't have a scientific study with randomized control groups on the effectiveness of parachutes either.
And when I doubt, I am wearing a parachute!

Adam Holtz keeps it on a run around right for a 40 yard Cov Cath touchdown.
Gronotte XP is good.
Cov Cath leads Highlands 42-0 with 0:19 to go in the game. (That's a running clock.)Thank you for the updates!

Willie Taggart says the USF/FAU game will be played as long as he has enough players to field a team. Thursday's round of tests will tell the tail.
Not sure that is the threshold a coach should be using to decide if they should play the game. I mean a D1 roster has 85 scholarship players plus walk ons. If he cant field a team with those numbers he has big Covid problems in his program.

Short punt.
Beechwood 1st and 10 Beechwood on the Cov Cath 36 yard line.
Short is an understatement...12 yard punt.

I’m sure there is a stat out there somewhere but the Reds have to have to biggest discrepancy between production from starting rotation to the pen of any team in baseball. One quality start after the other from the rotation. All 5 guys are pitching lights out. The bullpen has been handed the lead basically every game so far this year and we’re under .500. It’s so infuriating to have a team this talented fail to put together wins because the bullpen can’t put teams away. I have zero issue with what Bell is doing. This is a rushed season, 16 teams are making the playoffs this year so with a team like this you’re just treading water knowing if you can get to the postseason you’re starters are going to put you in position to win and they can go longer in to games. But we have to get there first.
Last night towards the end of the game the announcers said so far this season the starters had pitched 60 innings and given up 20 runs. The relievers had pitched 29 innings and given up 29 runs. Hopefully I am remembering those numbers correctly.

I’ve read they estimate 2700 tons of ammonium nitrate.
For scale, the Oklahoma City bombing utilized 2 tons. The scope of this explosion is really hard to take in.
For reference, the 1947 Texas City disaster had 2200 tons of ammonium nitrate that exploded.
If that is what was involved in this incident.

I got the same issue. Two college kids and got not one dime for them. They both have part time jobs. Frustrating.
It is what it is. But I agree about being frustrated. Seems like the college kids got kicked to the curb on this one.

From what I understood, is that if you claim them as a dependent, then you just get $500 per kid.
I claim both of my kids, age 19 and 22. Got my direct deposit yesterday for 1200. Since I claimed them they will not get anything. And since they are 19 and older, I did not get the 500 per kid. Not sure what the age cutoff is, I have seen anywhere from 17 to 19. And, they both filed tax returns this year.

Looks like Greyhound is temporarily closing. Guess I will take that one off my list.
Grandview Tavern is open for carry out.

Cheek scores with 2 seconds left. Final bucket of the game.
52-42 Cov Cath wins it.
Great work CWB! Thank you!

Hilarious.
Actually, I find it to be sad.

Thank you for the updates Mr. Owl!

I assume they don't replace the college goal posts with high school goal posts in Kroger Field? The high school goal posts are roughly five feet wider.
They have not changed the field goal post in the past.

Final
The gifted field goal at the end of the half wound up being the difference WOW!

Just curious, does NKY have some kids that cross the river and play for GCL-South teams? I know St.X and Trinity get a few kids from Southern Indiana.
Ohio does not allow out of state students to play sports.

Touchdown Owen Nally.
I really like the way Owen Nally plays! Strong kid.

Exactly.
CovCath has been good for exactly three years. So basically one or two classes of great players. Now all of a sudden they can beat Trinity? Please.
As I’ve said every time this discussion has come up, stay in your lane, CovCath...
Before you overreact to a simple question asked by what may be a non CovCath fan you may want to read the whole thread. There is exactly 1 CovCath poster on record in this thread saying CovCath would have beat Trinity the last 2 years.
Every time one of these silly hypothetical questions comes up you bite hook, line and sinker. If you take the time to look at who is saying what you would realize for the most part it is not CovCath fans that are claiming that CovCath would beat Trinity.
So now you can relax and know that CovCath is in their lane, which happens to be a very crowded lane this year.
