The only way that NCC can even hang is if they only turn the ball over 10 or less times but realistically Boone wins by 12

I would have to say that there was no redraw because the teams in the top half had to love there road to the final

Yes it would have been nice to see the HC/NCC game in the final because that was really the game of the tourney

Well NKY is where this tourney started and it will always be important, its just right now there is not very much competition in the 9th... But the teams from NKY really do want to win it and try to make a run at the state tourney as did NCC last year... But back to the topic anyways there are still alot of teams that lose in the all A and give teams all that they can handle in the regionals

well if you did that you would have 48 teams at the state tourney and you do not want that...Kentucky has one of the best state tournaments going in the sweet 16, and you do not want to water that down

You are right that they may not have anything to play for but coaches are always going to motivate they players to do better and in most cases the players want to get better or they would not be playing... However there are very few cases throughout the state that a team has no chance of at least being runner up in districts to get to the region

I agree that this is not really the tourney that school like Newcath focus on year in and year out there goal every year is to win the regional because they know they can normally play with they bigger schools... However attendance was not really hurt at all i do not believe in that case the turnout for NCC v. Ludlow was great and probably the best turnout out NCC girls have had all year...

Schroder played amazing for Villa!!! She really kept her team in it... But if she had a little help at the point position she would be really good b/c to me she does not look like a point guard.

Yes that is correct she had a heck of a game last night

For Villa to stay in this game #25 is going to have to have the game of her life... She is a very good shooter and can put some points up... But the high low game that they played last night will not work against NCC and they will not get that many layups

Does not look like it they were all over the NCC faithful before the game and they are not here now

I have heard all year how great the Ludlow big girls are but i really was not that impressed by them tonight... They are big and they got some blocks when the NCC guards drove the ball to the basket... Daughtery did have some success toward the end of the game and did shoot her free throws very well but that was about it... It kinda looked like they would get it down low and then just kind of throw it up...

Villa ran a very nice high low game in the first half and they made there layups

NCC didnt not press at all in this game they used a little half court trap for a short period of time that was effective.. But the score at half was 18-9 NCC and 7-0 NCC after the first... NCC did play a pretty good defensive game... Didn't allow the big girls to really beat them
