Donald Wayne and Craig Yeast will have Marion Co. ready for this game. Why? Nothing like getting overlooked by your home school.
I could not agree more...The Hawgs have moved to Marrion County!

Yeah I know, I think about all teams do it now. When I played which was more years ago than we'll discuss we never watched a film on another team of course the technology wasn't what it is today either. All I am saying is as good a team as FHS I just wouldn't think many changes from what they normally do would need to be made.
It's not about changes, it's about the Exploitation of weaknesses...Good teams assess themselves weekly; howver, some do not. Film is the best way to visualize your plans of ATTACK. Panthers prowl every friday night, this one will be no different.....

I am not taking sides one way or the other as I have no knowledge of the situation; but was it just a straight out refusal for no reason? Just saying that there are two sides to every story.
That is true, there were no returned phone calls, or emails.......:idunno:

The last time that these two faced off was in '99, during the first round of the post season...The Dawgs won this one 41-13, and they will win Friday night.

Word is that Marksberry would have ran the score to 70-0 if he had the chance. Apparently he wasn't too thrilled with a few comments that were made by the QB and Coach??? Seems kinda childish to me, especially if you are going to risk the health of 1 or more of your starters.
That being said, I did notice all the sportsmanship the players gave toward each other on the field and was very impressed by Conner's boys. Very classy!
It's not Marksberry's job to stop himself....That belongs to the coaches of the opposing team....Keep em rolling Jeff...:thumb:

You can't show what you don't have....The Polar Bears rufused to swap film with the Panthers....It will be on and Cracking at Sower Field....:taz::taz:

Great job by the Rockets of securing Victory behind enemy lines, and in bad conditions....:thumb:

Isn't this an upset? I thought Gallatin County was second only to Bracken as worse in that district.
No Sir, the Cats were District runners up in '07, and they finished 3rd last season, and won their 1st round playoff game.....

Big Win for the B....It's always good to get one over the Dawgs....
-
M'boro has a wide receiver that is very impressive. The QB is a big strong kid with a riffle on his shoulders. Very big up front, they out weigh FHS by 100 pounds per man.
Defense is agressive and they fly to the football.
I agree....The Panthers are going behind Enemy Lines this weekend....:eyeonyou:

The Rockets improve to 4 and 1.....

Great job by the Rockets and Staff.....Keep it rolling....:dancingpa

Coach Fowler, keep doing what you do.......

Coach Lickert continues to let the Dawgs out!!

Hope that phrase works better this week for you than it did last.
It's a weekly phrase....win, lose, or draw.....

:thumb: I think Trae and Keeston will also be in the backfield Fri.
Getcha POPCORN Ready............

The South will rise again Friday night with a 17-10 victory over the Union....

I'll take the Dawgs by a score of 28-12. This was the score the last time that these two hooked up in the post season of 2000....

Frankfort loses by 3 TD's.
Dig....

Good job by the Shelby Staff and Players.....:thumb:

Great game between rivals, and great to watch. Really poor on Frankfort's part to run out before the game across Western Hills "W" and try and meet Hills at the 50yd line, but didn't see Frankfort's staff trying to stop them, goes to show the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Great game Hills and great class (you don't need to paint anyones windows)
The kids were supposed to stop on the near hash..we'll get it correct next season...Our badness...

Was a very good high school football game between rivals. Both teams played very hard and defenses limited offenses for both teams. I think only 3 first downs in the entire first half (2 for Frankfort and 1 for Hills). Dylan Curry showed great leadership and heart (along with other seniors) on last drive. One of biggest plays of game was when Curry hit by 3 Frankfort defenders in endzone, but strong enough to get ball downfield and avoid the safety. Great win for the Western Hills program.
The first TD by Hills was one heck of a play by Curry...

Holmes 3-0 for the first time since 1999 if my memory holds correct... In 01, they lost to Campbell Co in week 2, in 2000 they opened up with a loss to Simon Kenton, and in any year after those to they just never had it going to be 3-0. I know in 1999 they started off 6-0. Congrats, go Bulldogs!
True-True, this makes all of the former coaches proud....Keep rolling Dawgs!
