  1. Woods was definitely correct! Today on college game day Cauley and Noel said the best two players ever were Derick Anderson and Rondo!!! What a joke!
  2. I said they would lose the 1st meeting and win the 2nd meeting. In 1 week, we shall see!!!
  3. Somebody owes me a TON of Crowe and a gift card! I said National Championship, but I'll take the Final Four!!! GO CARDS!!!
  4. This just goes to show what I called on April the 2nd. My original post... Go ahead and write this one in your little book! Everyone in the state should go ahead and book their tickets to Nawlins because it will be UofL and UK for the title next year. I believe UK will win the first contest at Rupp, and UofL gets UK in the championship game to cut down the nets in Nawlins!!! You heard it here first folks!!! This game just shows you how bad it is for teams in Corrupt Arena. I mean for real. Louisville, OSU, Cuse, and UNC is a LOT better than SuCk, but none of us would get a fair whistle. Although I REALLY hope we beat their tails on the 31st, I think we get raked over the coals, and have to wait until Nawlins to get them for real!!! GO CARDS!!!
  5. Even more reason to dislike teague! I will be in Indy tomorrow and he will definitely get not just a boo, but a BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! GO CARDS!!!
  6. OK! This thread has obviously gotten WAY off base from my original post. The point is this... Next year's national championship game will be UofL vs. uk!!! Write that one down. Save this post and in a year from now a TON of you will have some serious crow to eat. I can't help it that uk isn't getting Sick Sick 2 Fiddy. He is not getting Rodney Purvis in 2 years. Don't hate! Yes I'll be the 1st to admit that uk's class next year is quite impressive. Their class will get them to the championship game, but they will get that tail beat by Sick Sick 2 Fiddy, Siva, TJ, and the boys!!! Holla Back!!!
  7. OK then lets include Orton and add some of the other stats (Rebounds and Assists). Once again using Rider, Clev. St, Standford, UNC, and UConn: Orton PPG - First 5 4.2 Season- 3.4 GOT WORSE!!! Other Stats: Rebounds: First Five-Season: Wall: 4-4.3 Cousins: 6.6-9.8 Patterson: 9-7.4 Bledsoe: 1.4-3.1 Miller: 4-2.5 Orton: 3-3.3 Assists: Wall: 6.2-6.5 Cousins: .4-1 Patterson: .2-.9 Bledsoe: 2.2-2.9 Miller: 1.6-1.5 Orton: .8-.4 OK, so where is this HUGE leap in anything at all??? These players were pretty much the same throughout the season. Fact is uk will get to the championship game next year based on talen alone. UofL will get there because of talent and coaching. I will take UofL's talent and CRP any day of the week. Like I said! Go ahead and book your tickets to Nawlins. I'll be there watching my Cards beat uk's tail!!!
  8. Brother I wish you really had a clue before you commented on stuff... Let's just take a look at last year (since there was more "star" power on the team) and see if anyone got better...HA! I took 5 games at the beginning of the season in the 09-10 season (I even included games vs. good teams to help your cause). The games I looked at were Rider, Cleveland St., Stanford, UNC, and UConn. Here is what the starters averaged: Wall: 20 Cousins: 12 Patterson: 15 Bledsoe: 7.2 Miller: 7.4 The seaon average for the same 5 were as follows: Wall: 16 Cousins: 15 Patterson: 14 Bledsoe: 11 Miller: 6 Looking at these stats, there were only 2 players that made an increase in their PPG average by the end of the season and this was not even that significant. How in the WORLD can you say that players are getting better under Cal??? Be serious and know what you are talking about before you call people's comments dumb. Don't forget STATS NEVER LIE!!!
  9. Siva will no doubt be one of the top 3 PGs in the nation next year!!! If he were 6'3" or taller, Calipari would be all over him. However, the good thing the Cardinals will have going for them in the championship game next year is that our players get better playing for CRP and Cheatapari's don't. Wall, Cousins, Lamb, Knight, none of them got any better. Look at Knight's first game vs. UConn and his 2nd. Not much of a difference. The ONLY player that got any better was Harrelson, and that wasn't due to Cal. That was because he had to go up against Cousins and Kanter the past 2 years in practice. Cheatapari CANNOT coach. If you think he can, then you saw him draw up a REALLY good play there at the end of the game the other night (Liggins shooting the 3, REALLY?) Be serious. Book your tix now to Nawlins. Just wait and see my friends!!!
  10. You are neglecting to remember that UofL has the coach that has multiple final fours under his belt (never had one stripped) and as well as a championship. Cheatapari seems like he chokes in the NCAA tournament. Whether or not you think that UofL will be better or not is besides the point. The fact of the matter is that we will have the best player on the floor and the best coach on the floor. And that my friend is the reason why both teams will make the championship, and UofL will win it. I'll take all of the gift cards, and everything else you want to send this way when I say I told ya so!!!
  11. You forgot Kyle Kuric, George Goode, and Jared Swopshire. Oh yea, and you forgot Tony Woods, who actually played in the NCAA tournament in the 2nd round vs. uk!!! Nice try though!!! Still think the two teams will be ranked #1 and #2 at the end of the season!!!
  12. I believe that Liggins and Miller have some goooooooood experience from the NIT as well. No player on Louisville's roster has ever played in anything but the NCAA tournament!!! If uk is the #1 seed and UofL the #2 they will be seeded opposite each other (i.e. Ohio State and Kansas this year)!
  13. Read my 1st post! I said uk wins the first meeting. Honestly, going into the NCAA they should be the #1 team in a America and UofL #2. However, when they play for the title, UofL wins the 2nd meeting! I've already said all this!!!
  14. You are losing the point! The point is it will be UofL vs. uk for the national title next year! Mark my words!!!
  15. Sick Sick 2 Fiddy = 6'6" 250lbs Chane Behanan!!! uk probably loses 3 of their starters!!! UofL will no doubt have more experience than uk next year!!!
  16. Serious??? With Woods we have just as many 5-star players on our roster, plus we will have 1 thing that UK won't have and that is experience!!! Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd, the one thing that we have that uk DEFINATELY doesn't have is Sick Sick 2 Fiddy!!!
  17. UK's season shows you that you can only ride freshman so far...UK needs Knight or Lamb to come back. Having Liggins, Lamb and Miller with those 4 freshman would make them a formidable team. But Miller and Liggins are so bi-polar you never what you are going to get from them. I also think Anthony Davis may take a while to get used to serious D1 basketball...kid is a rail... From a roster standpoint, especially if we add Kevin Ware...UL should be much better than UK. Now if Jones and Lamb both come back, UK could be a serious title threat. But Jones is out and Knight is probably 70-30 out. I think Lamb will test the waters, he had a pretty good game and if he works out for a few teams he may get a first round offer. This could happen, and I like UL's chances to be one of the elite teams next year...and while both schools have a lot up in the air for next year...I see UL being in much better shape going into next season.
  18. I'll go with my Cards!!! We only lose 1 senior, will have a VERY solid group returning, plus we get the transfer, Nunez, Blackshear, and Sick Sick 2 Fiddy!!! Plus, they mentioned tonight, UCONN in 2004 was the last team to win a national championship when starting a Freshman!
  20. Marquette, ND, WVU, UConn!!! 4 years in a row the Big East ends uk's season!!!
  21. Sorry but I have got to step in here. First and foremost I went to this game and the refs were HORRIBLE both ways. They would blow touch fouls and one point and then let both teams play for stretchs. Boone did have a good game plan, and it was apparent that they exploided the inside presence (or lack there of) of Holmes. On the flip side, I will give my congrats to Boone for winning this game, but they didn't impress me at all. I am a 16th region fan and I have seen at least 3 or 4 teams that would not only beat their tails, but would SPANK them. Maxpreps currently has Boone at 34th in the state and Rowan Co. at 35th. Let me just be the first to tell you folks that Rowan would DRILL Boone Co. by at least 20 points. If anyone got to see them beat Lewis County last night, they would understand. The point guard for Boone didn't impress me at all. The only thing he had going for him was his speed. Townsend, Cross, Delaney, Smith, and Burns from the 16th are all better than this kid!!! Boone's post are solid when they catch it inside of 2 feet, but they couldn't bang with even Riley from the 16th. I look to Dixie beating them in the next round as after looking at their schedule, they have actually beat someone outside of the 9th (Paul Blazer)!
  22. The real story here is the Cards were down 65-47 with just over 5 minutes to go. Then CRP puts Elisha Justice in the game. The Cards go on an 18-2 run and outscores Marquette 24-5 the rest of the way and come back to beat Marquette. Although Knowles will get all of the credit saying that PK and SVT scored all of the points in the 15-0 spurt, I think the unsung hero for the game is EJ!!! GO CARDS!!!
  23. LOL, I'll give you props on that. However, until this year I haven't needed to say much. My Cards have done the talking for me. This year though, there was a BIG difference between the dribble and drive and the drink & drive! It is funny though, that the only comment back was directed back at me and not in any way shape or form at my team. Is this because you know we already have a top 5 class for 2011 and will be #1 if we get Teague?
