Barring any upsets except their own, Grant County has the toughest road to the state title. GC would need to reverse a 64-12 loss to Covington Catholic and then upset Highlands, which has already beaten them by a 62-13 score. After winning the region, Grant County would need to beat a 13-0 Johnson Central team before besting top-ranked Bowling Green for the championship.

I think that Ashland's wins against Russell and Belfry have to count as quality regular season wins. I agree that Ashland has a tough row to hoe.

:thumb: My feelings exactly. There is a big difference in a coach cussing at a player and a coach cursing in front of a player. IMO, good coaches never curse at their players, but many curse to get the teams attention.

It will be interesting to see how well some of the top turf teams handle mud if there is a repeat of Friday's weather deep into the playoff sched. My gut says teams who play home games on grass and in the mud adjust to turf better than turf teams deal with the elements.
