6A: Trinity/Scott County Updates
Rocks have played well. Scott County is dictating the tempo and it is methodical. Not many possessions but Scott County has been able to run counters for yardage and Trinity has been able to throw underneath the 4 deep zones. Interesting to hear Trinity going Wildcat formation near the end zone. Great kicker for Scott as the 41 yard FG had plenty on leg but hit the upright.

1 Corinthians 9:16 For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast about, for this obligation has been entrusted to me. How terrible it would be for me if I didn't preach the gospel! We at St X have nothing to boast about yet in football. Sometimes the best doesn't win. Even Donny Osmond wins in the finals sometimes.

St. Xavier/Greenwood Predictions
I watched a little ( okay, very little) of their game against Henderson and I am impressed with the QB. The kicker has a strong leg and the RB ran a sweep in for the first TD. The Greenwood line and backs did a good job of blocking and the back made a couple of moves to get into the end zone. They ended up shutting out Henderson in the second half so defensively made some changes. Did I mention the call out for anyone in the area to come root for the Gators? The Tigers are walking into "the Swamp" and I can only think of John Hardin in 2005.

St. Xavier 48 Simon Kenton 34
Lawrence and Krumen. It was 41-34 and SK recovered the onside kick. SK made one first down and went deep twice in a row from St X's 35. The first one Daylen Hall dropped, the second one Nick Sears, just back in the lineup thisweek, picked off his 2nd pass of 3 tonight. One missing element was I didn't recall hearing Buehner run the ball that much or or even pass that much until the PI call. BTW Greenwood up 21-3 in the fourth quarter. Bowling Green is nice this time of year.

6A: Simon Kenton/St. Xavier Updates

6A: Simon Kenton/St. Xavier Updates
Jacob Krumen had a great game too. SK proved that they deserved a #2 or 3 ranked in the state overall.

6A: Simon Kenton/St. Xavier Updates
The 4th down gamble in the first half I think looms large. That 7 points is the difference. SK has controlled the whole game. TD Montano 93 yards 48-34

6A: Simon Kenton/St. Xavier Updates
st x announcers say it is a bad pass interference call against SK. Tigers score on next play 41-27. I wonder how other announcers might of called it? Tony and John are not just homers for X. Sideline reporter says good call. 15 yard penalty on SK bench for unsportsmanship. 4:58 left
