  1. Arguably Manual is the 'best" or "top" (or whatever term which you wish to use) of the Non-All Male Catholic Boys Schools. So this should be a true test. NO question but that M has enjoyed a terrific season to date. Will they be able to extend that one more week? NO says I. They unquestionably have some atheletes - but I daresay the first 5 opponents of the Rocks were no slouches.

So let us settle it on the field.

Didn't you mean first six opponents?

  2. Or....they realize just how much they could make a difference. :p I'm a glass half full kinda person. :D I'm saying...we have a chance.
It is my guess that Quick and Hatcher will go to a school in the SEC, Big Ten,, Pac 12 or Big 12. IF UL joins the Big 12 then UL will have shot at the players.
  3. 14-6 at halftime Trinity lead versus X, just to remind you. Should have been 17-14 X at half, Lemondray Clemons crossed plane on 1 yrd line and they called it fumble and brad Shickel missed extra point and field goal.

St X played aggressive football in the first half. So did Indy Cathedral (tied 14-14 at half). Trinity's speed and huge linemen have seemed to make difference in second half. So the final score should have been about 41-17. Manual is not better than St X.

  4. Indy Cathedral will not ba trap game. The Trinity staff thought that St X, Cathedral and Moeller would be the toughest tthree opponents. The players got a tough test tonite and I think they will be practice very hard. It might have been a trap game in another year when it came before the St X game. But not this year. The players want to be in the National Top 5 and know that any loss takes them out of that bracket.

  5. T is looking great thus far, but, let's put it in perspective. Brentwood, MBA and Elder are all a shell of there normal powerhouse teams. All are in a down year and none of the 3 are considered state title type teams as they've been in the past. You can argue that, but, it's fact.

Playing at Brentwood, then MBA and then at the Pit is more difficult than playing any teams from Kentucky except Highlands, Bowling Green and maybe Louisville St X. Handing Brentwood and Elder their worse loss at home in the history of the schools and handing MBA its second biggest loss in its history is noteworthy.

I think that Trinity's performance against St X will tell us the answer to the question.
