Are you saying that all these kids have full scholarship potential at the Division I or IAA level?

Full scholarship potential...yes...some academic. However, and unfortunately, not every player gets scouted by DI colleges or "talked up" by coaches. Some of these boys are looking at in state schools and football isn't the priority...education is. A couple have had football invites. Many are getting academic invites. I see nothing wrong with that. All are good strong student athletes.

Watch the Holmes/Holy Cross game featured on ICN 6 earlier this season. Many penalties were called for just that. I think some have perfected it.

I'd say not bad for around 11 guys playing the entire game for PC. With such a small roster and the young players not seeing any play time, those guys have to be beat. Great run and incredible hit by #33/PC.

I will take Pendleton. They get back 2 starters that were injured,this will help there defense..

I think PC is starting to pull together to make it work. Anderson was a tough team, big strong guys, hard hits. The ever-dwindling, injury cursed PC team will recover and hopefully stand strong. Hats off to Anderson...good show

Pendleton has young coaches and a young team. Experiencing gametime together is what they need. Do doubt, it will be a tough day for PC. Looking forward to a respectfully played competition. Play tough men.

What does anyone think of the new district next year with Harrison,Pendleton Bourbon and Franklin Co.?

Lets just hope Pendleton Co. has no injuries this week. They had 2 major and 4 minor last week. 4 out of the 6 went to the hospital .

I seen Paris play last year and those big boys where wore out by the 4th quarter.

Pendleton County has a very young, ambitious, and smart football coach. He will succeed.

I was wondering what you meant by smart football coach I hear they do nothing but run. They do not start 2 adays until the 1st of August. Smart? he has not had one game as a head coach! Only time will tell.

PC numbers have already dropped and 2 a days have not even started.

Carver is not a member of the KHSAA Executive Committee, he serves on the KHSAA Football Advisory Committee, the one that wants to add more classes to our already big system. How long will it take you to enter regular season play and try and compete for a district title? I hope you can do it quicker than them old Wildcats of Pendleton County has!

Excellent choice for Brossart. He will be missed greatly at Pendleton. I have a feeling PC will be wishing they had him back! Congrats Coach Carver. We'll definitely be watching Brossart as an up and coming team.

I agree with statman anytime a young man can continue his football career either D-1 or any college its great remember its an education first football second.
