Ammons has had 11 touches this season and leads the team in offense. Let him touch it 45 times a game and see what happens. Let's not forget the young man also rushed for 4,000 yards and 52 td's. It's a waste IMO. You have Minus, Madon and Burke that need to step up.

Rob Madon is doing well,Cody Minus is still not 100% and Jordan Burke is coming along fine. Mike Lewis can do the job.

Congrats cats. They have a young team only 3 seniors I think. The young team has bought into hard work pays off in the end and it showed in this game.

I talked to one of the o-line, he said there was an injury at left tackle and Logan stepped in,and he is the real deal. Should complement the o-line headed by sophmore Kyle Pettit at center,Byrd at left guard,Kazee and Stewart on the right side.

Georgetown opens the season saturday in Dyersburg,Tn. against William Penn of Iowa. Georgetown should have a good year. They play 5 teams that are ranked in the top 25.

Back to coach Collins, while getting the head coaching position for the basketball team,he resigned his position as Head coach for the girls fastpitch softball team.He did a very fine job and the young ladies will miss him.

Colleges sometime give academic scholarships and use athletic scholarships for someone who may not be elegible for the academic. Thus using the preferred walk on label for the academic scholar. Many players turn down this offer because they feel if they are not deserving of an athletic scholarship they will go somewhere else.
