I would say the best player I have seen at Bell County would be Josh Brock. He was very talented and could flat out play. Which I am also fairly young as well.

Eric Ely was tough too.

Anyone who leaves Jonathan VanHoose off of Russell's all-time team is a little short on basketball IQ.

I think all that he achieved in his career, his life dream, all his hard work and and his legacy will go down as nothing. When the name of Chris Benoit is mentioned all that will be remembered is this tragedy. Such a talented individual who as HOMELESS CAMEL said seemingly had it all is basically now just a waisted life. If only he could have sat down and thought about this. I wonder if it was planned or if it was just a sudden action. Whatever the case, someone who performs as a professional had to have something set him off. I have no clue how he didn't seriously injure someone in the ring with his mind state. He had to have had some sort of serious mental illness. Had to.

-On a player standpoint Landon Slone proved he was one of the elight players in kentucky with some of his performances on the Derek Smith All-Star team. He was arguably the top player on that team. He probabily pushed himself up in the state rankings as well as nationally

-Madison Central looked great as a team, and the Morris kid is a cant miss DI prospect.

Anyone know how Covington Catholic has done throughout the summer.

Hammonds is the real deal, Sure he'll be playing at a highly touted NCAA-DII program but should have been playing DI somewhere. Alot of people thought he was the top player on SL's team last season ahead of Proffitt who'll be headed out to the big east next season as part of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish basketball team.

Nickleback and Buckcherry never have a bad song.

Also 2Pac, Eminem, Three 6 Mafia, and Bone-Thugs n Harmony are basically the same on the hip hop side, every song they ever put out is great.

Injuries are tough as you stated but fighting through them is part of the process of being an athlete. Carter or any other player should never give up unless requested to do so by a doctor.

I hope he is able to overcome this latest set back.

I agree Cshs81, I can see IU but its not common for Rutgers and Miami to get 5* recruits, especially since he's from CT. and not NJ or FL.

Uebel fits the true definition of a basketball player. He can shoot,defend,penetrate,pass, and rebound. Thomas More should be pretty competitive in the next few seasons.
