  1. It’s impossible for us to look through the eyes of God. That is what Adam and Eve tried to do and got us into this mess. Sin is a willful transgression against the laws of God.

It is difficult for me to understand that God sees the sin of abusing a child equally with lying. But that is the way God works. It is also hard for me to understand that sex between two men or two women is equal to sex outside of marriage.

We look at the act and develop our opinions. God looks at the persons heart.

    Psalms 130:3

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

  2. It does not matter where Grennup plays, they have played more games away than at home. They have went to Louisville and Lexington and have won those games, and beating Ballard which was ranked 12th, and also went to Louisa and beat Lawrence Co which was also a ranked team. Logan has prepared these boys to play on any field. So I dont think that Raceland is goining to beat Greenup because they are at home, unless they are helped by the umpires.

So Greenup is happy about the draw?

  3. I just dont find much fufillment in Christianity

Why cant you people just understand that I have tried Christianity for 4 years now and I no longer have any urge, need, or inkling to try it anymore. I have beat that horse to a pulp. The Christiani Horse That Is...

Yes LBBC I see it as a random happening. I dont have to feel there is a magical guy in the sky to see the beauty and wonder in the world. I actually find it more beautiful knowing it was a thing of cosmic chance.

You have tried Christianity for four years and have not found fulfillment. Well bless your little heart. I have been a Christian for more than thirty years and find that I am not doing enough to be fulfilled. Mother Theresa felt empty and unfulfilled often. A true Christian constantly has to work to feel fulfilled. Being a Christian is not for the weak, it is easier to quit.

  4. That spiritual fufillment that so many seek.

Do you want spiritual fulfillment or worldly fulfillment? Jesus said deny yourself, take up your cross and follow him. If you are not willing to give up everything you have for your faith, then you will never be fulfilled.

Christ promises eternal life for those who follow him, what is more fulfilling than that?

  5. Those are diametrically opposed to one another. If you are fully God, it is not possible to be fully man.

If God is omniscient, man is not

If God is omnipotent, man is not

What could possibly tempt you if you are all powerful

What could harm you if you were all powerful

    Jesus simply can't be both.

All things are possible with God. A god that has to conform to the rules of man is not worth my praise.

  6. This vote is for nothing. The only dependents who an employee can claim is a legally married spouse, or a former spouse in which the employee must provide insurance, and a dependent child. The state of Kentucky will not insure any partner outside of marriage. Kentucky doesn't recognize homosexual marriages.

This is like my kids taking a vote and telling me they are going to change their bedtime. Good try, but I'm not bound by it.

  7. Matt Fultz went 2-4 with a double and 2 RBI's and Ethan Parsons aslo went 2-4 with a double. Jacob pitch a excellent ball game. One difference in the past couple of games is the decision to move Troy Huffine into the starting lineup he has been the spark the Royals needed.

Troy Huffine made a big difference in this game. Rose Hill scored in the third inning and the seventh. In both innings Troy was the one who got the Royals started. He scored twice. He also made a potentially game saving diving catch in right field. Great game for the seventh grader.

  8. Watkins was only asked to help in the first place when kayla and Britt played to try to keep them happy . i heard most the younger girls did not like him to much because britt was allowed to get away with anything she wanted when she played.

Where do you get your information? It's wrong.

  9. It's a message board, and as long as none of the rules are broken they can discuss it as long as they want. Looks like the defection of 2 players and a coach has gottten the RH faithful a little edgy.

Look at my post, I didn't say they couldn't or shouldn't discuss it, I only said it wasn't their business.

As to being edgy, I don't think so. Believe it or not this isn't the worst thing that has ever happened in my life, it isn't even the worst thing that has ever happened at Rose Hill. The "RH faithful" are enthusiastic about the future.

  10. Fastbreak, you again hit the nail on the head. I would add, I have personally experienced the love and care these kids along with the rest of the student body at Rose Hill have for each other and their extended families. I will always cheer these kids even if they never again pick up a basketball.

They are great kids, basketball players, friends, leaders, but most of all faithful Christians. Scott County is blessed to be getting these families.

Also at the risk of sounding sappy or weird, I will say, I put you and Mrs. Fastbreak in the same category.

  11. So ... if the Jackson family is from central Kentucky, then why have they been in Ashland for the last two years?

    The plot thickens ... ;)

The simple truth is, it is none of your business. This is a matter between the Jackson family and the KHSAA. This transfer will be closely scrutinized by the KHSAA. When he is found eligible, then we will all be sure the move is legitimate.

Chad’s mother doesn’t feel the need to explain herself on a message board or the to newspapers.

  12. My prayers go out to you, your family, and to the other young lady. I know, when things are toughest, I feel closest to the Lord. Remember Psalms 34:17 The righteous cry out and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

  13. I dont think that has anything to do with my political views. I could say that your geographic location or religous views would have something to do with your political views. But it doesnt. Neither does my recreational activities.

No but is illegal. Your views seem to be anti-establishment. Maybe it does say a lot of your political views. My religous views do have everything to do with my political views.
