1 - Nelson
2 - Carter
3 - Lewis
4 - Wallace
5 - Howard
6 - Pietrus
Can anyone help me spell loaded? Maybe even Wallace and Lewis could flip flop at times.

In order to read the full story on ESPN you have to sign up for Insider, which I am not a member.
Hopefully they can close this deal, it would be a pretty huge move.

Saw it on the headlines part of ESPN's NBA home page.
It is labeled just a rumor, so nothing confirmed yet, but the site says the Orlando Magic are pursuing Rasheed Wallace. A replacement for Hedo perhaps.

Is Megan Berberich related to Jonathon who went to CovCath? If so they are a very nice family and I am very happy for her.

I am a little out of the loop and this is a shock for me I didn't know Maile was Mr. Baseball. I don't know him personally, but I met his father through this site and we talked a few times. Great kid, great family, couldn't be more happy for him.

What a sad day we're having. Prayers go out to the family.

Sad day for everyone, I always loved Michael Jackson's music and dancing.
Kinda seemed like he was just gonna live forever after we were all gone.
R.I.P.

A bad call, but not a very good decision by Bradley to put himself and the team in that situation.
The red card was pretty bad, but it was a pretty late tackle and studs slightly up. Yellow would have been sufficient IMO but the refs saw it differently I suppose.
Hopefully the team can overcome the loss and a bench player can step up.

The player of the game in the victory over Spain was Tim Howard. World class goal keeping, and he was always alert and ready for every shot.
The sheild by Altidore was tremendous and was actually pretty shocked that a professional defender could be taken out of the play like that.
As for Brazil...
I watched them today and was not impressed. They came out flat and played that way the entire time. South Africa had great possession and really played with a lot of heart, they might make some noise 351 days from now.
Brazil is going to come out with something to prove against the United States and I just hope the team can weather the storm and keep it close.

I agree, if you're just too busy to come then you need to let someone know so that a large group of people aren't just expecting you to be there.
It's little things like this that don't help the public image.

I don't see this being a really poor trade for Orlando, but I think Lee was really starting to hit his stride and Alston was playing pretty well. That being said, adding a player like Carter can really only help the overall athleticism of your team and I think he'll fit in there.

Take a look at Holy Cross. This is an absolute BRUTAL stretch. George Rogers Clark beat South Laural.
Nov 28, '06 Lexington Catholic Lexington Catholic 43 - 59 (L)
Dec 2, '06 Harrison, OH Harrison, OH 67 - 39 (W)
Dec 9, '06 Oak Hills, OH 49 - 55 (L)
Dec 12, '06 Scott County Scott County - 7:30 PM
Dec 15, '06 Bishop Brossart Bishop Brossart - 7:30 PM
Dec 16, '06 Roger Bacon, OH at NKU - 2:00 PM
Dec 20, '06 George Rogers Clark George Rogers Clark - 7:30 PM
Dec 22, '06 Aiken, OH Holy Cross (Covington) - 7:30 PM
How does anyone know if Harrison, Oak Hills, Roger Bacon, or Aiken are any good? It could go either way, but LC, SC, and GRC are good teams.

Congrats to an obviously fine coach.

Alot of this is because they are kids. If a kid has a bad game shooting or doesn't score alot of points, alot of times he will pull out the 15 rebounds and 9 assists. I have noticed this before. I used to have a guy on my high school team that scored 2-3 points a game, but he always seemed to have more than 5 assists and close to double-figure rebounds. I finally thought about this after I graduated and realized that he would have had state record stats if he'd been telling the truth. He would've had more than 1,000 rebounds and 500 assists in 3 years.
So that would be the stat keepers fault correct?

Scenario:
Shot is missed and a player on offense taps the ball out to the PG, and it's obvious that it is a controlled tap. Does it count as a rebound and a pass for the player that tipped it out? Or is it a rebound to the PG?

I will be surprised if Hester get's 20 or more.
I'll be surprised if he doesn't score over 20.
If DJ is on the bench, Avery can't keep up with Hester. Not that he's not a great back-up, it just is what it is.

This is how I would rank them:
1---Holmes
2----CovCath
3---Simon Kenton
4---Brossart
5---Holy Cross
6---Highlands
7--- St. Henry
8--- Scott
9---NewCath
10--Ryle
I like this list, but I'd flip flop Scott and NCC.

I disagree. If you are talking potential, then it is without question - Scotty Hopson of UAH. I would almost guarantee that if you said Miller has the most potential, then you have not seen Scotty play. Hopson's raw talent exceeds anyone from KY in a long time. That includes Lofton. He has incredible hops, lightning quick, and a decent shot. He has the athletic ability of a, well, I know this is almost blasphemous, but kind of like Michael Jordan. Now, I didn't say player, just athletic ability.
Now, if you are talking about a player that will help his team win, then you don't want to go with Scotty Hopson. He is a dunking machine that can score when he wants to. he can block shots at will - but it has to be when he wants to. He is not a fierce competitor 100% of the time.
Best player - ? I think if I was a college coach - I would go with Mackey or Miller - both Juniors!
I was simply talking about the players included on the list. And if a player if not competing 100% of the time, and only plays when he wants to... then that player does not deserve a jersey.

Am I correct thinking that St. Henry has won the last 2 years?
CCH won the matchup 66-49 last year. The year before that is when St. Henry ended CCH's streak of what I think was 28 straight 9th region wins. When St. Henry won that night I think it had been something like 704 days since the last CCH region loss.
And now that the history lesson is over... I'll take CCH by double digits, around the 13-16 margin.
-
I think if it's potential, then Miller is overwelmingly tops, but I think just top 3-5 as far as the best.
-
Satek of CovCath should be a top player for CovCath. Goalie Noll did well on the JV level, and Bessler, Hoblitzel, Jester, Mikhail and Geise all have Varsity experience.
Another varsity contributer was Zimmerman.
Satek might not get the publicity next year because he was moved to sweeper from midfield late last year as a result of an injury to Bessler.

PowerAde, welcome to the site. A suggestion though, when putting up a final score, include the full name of the team (HC - Henry Clay, but could also be Holy Cross, Harrison Co, etc.)
Glad to have you on BGP.

Too bad UL didn't get to play a famously good team, I would have liked to have seen that.
Don't count out Wake. By the way everyone is talking on here, it should be a laugher. Strange things have happened this year for UL, and with some poor opponents they've had trouble dominating.
UL - 27
WF - 21

And just like that.... Make it 16-7 NCC. XP to come.

Getting Thabeet I have no problem with he will do what he did in college and average 200 blocks a game - but is his footwork good enough to score against NBA centers - or maybe he can just shoot right over people.
I would have liked to see Chalmers go, but I like Carroll, he is a beast.
