  1. Sounds like a game for the ages! Was it a close game all the way through or just a blow-out by St.X and then Highlands scores when the subs come in? I wish I could watch the birds play just one time, which is why I hope Bell Co. wins region so the birds come near us to play:). Anywho, good-luck for the rest of the season from your SEKY fan!

  2. Final score: 43-6.

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy first half by the dragons. 2nd half was just an amazing display of the green dragon's talent. Jon Lundy had an explosive game with two touchdown runs that were 70+ yards.

Good win for the dragons, we go on the road next week to play Cumberland.:thumb:

  3. In gradeschool I played for Mullins and our worst loss came from Cumberland in the Coca Cola bowl at Shelby Valley. We were scheduled to play Blackberry and as many people know that live around here neither team usually has a good record so it would make to be a great match. Well we get down there they tell us they couldnt come but they filled the spot with Cumberland.

    Cumberland 97

    Mullins 0

I wouldn't worry about it, considering Cumberland probably has one of the easiest scheduels in the state. Watch out Betsy Lane, the redskins are coming!

  4. LC99, how did the "MEN" on the o-line for Lynn Camp look? I can remember playing them last year, and they were...HUGE! I figured just running behind them, Roskopf could've had a one-man-show. However, I'm looking forward to our game at Lynn Camp! I would hope it would be a better one than last year.

  5. I knew he was all-sec in football. He was an all-american in basketball and played on the olympic team and in the nba drafted by Washington but played for the Indianapolis Olympians for several years. He was also an outstanding baseball player and played all three sports in college.

Believe it or not, we still have a photograph of his senior year when they won the State Title in basketball back in 1948-1949 (I believe those are the right dates). Oh, and to add somebody to the list, I would have to say Michael Jones-Harlan High School. The last time I saw the records, he still held the national record for assists.

Also, a recent player, I would say Stewart Miller from Middlesboro. Came very close to getting some kind of a record with 3-pointers made? However, he was an awesome athelte.

  6. 1. Wallace "wah wah" Jones-- Harlan

    2. Jermaine Brown-- Fairdale

    3. Michael Bush-- Male

    4. Tim Couch-- Leslie Co.

    5. Brian Brohm-- Trinity

    6. Derek Smith

Glad to see "Wah Wah" on there! Just for your information, (incase you already didn't know), he played in the Olympics on the basketball team, and was All-American at UK in Football, Basketball, and Baseball from what one of our teachers told us.:D
