I may got some bad info. It may have been #3 from CC that had a broken hand a while back.

The 8th grader (sorry don’t know the numbers) but yes that is correct (about 99.9% sure)

I was told it was a broken bone in her hand and that she maybe available for the sweet 16 final if CC makes it that far. I even saw an x-ray if in fact it was her hand.

If it is a broken bone hard to come back from that especially how much she plays. I guess we all will see.

At the end of the game, CC was dribbling out the clock, there were fans yelling shoot it so they could score 100.

Well luckily that didn’t come from the girls.

Anyone know why the Holbrook girl did not play? She was dressed but never got in the game.

Hamstring. Was going to try to play but could not get loose in the locker room and warming up in the back. Decided it was not worth it.

I would say not yet because people are still trying to get out of the parking lot. It was crazy packed.

SHA 59 -- CCHS 58. Things are going to be interesting at BB&T.

Every team has to perform for the 2 games in districts and 3 in region to get to BB&T. Season is long from over and this coming from a CC supporter.

May be splitting hairs here but unless there has been an extra day added to a week not sure how WV being off Thur/Fri equals 3 days of rest?

 

Campbell's big 3 had solid games, looks to me like WV took one of Campbell's better shots and still won at Campbell. Day, Clos and Jolly shot a combined 22/36 and Jolly was 3/5 from 3.

I was quoting someone else. They still had 2 days off after none for CC so to me the point is not of importance to even bring up in the discussion by the previous poster.

How many points is Miles worth to the Bearcats? If the Camels want to win their District/Regional they will need to be prepared to win consecutive nights. Just give credit where it's due and move on. The Camels may be a better team right now but they weren't last night.

I never discredited WV but to say it was tougher on them after 3 days rest is kind of funny to me.

I would say WV had the more difficult follow up game. They just came off their most important victory of the season in a highly intense, high level played game that went down to the wire.

To recover emotionally and win at Campbell County three days later is very impressive.

WV had 3 days to recovery? That is 3 days, meaning they had 3 days to get their legs back. CC had 0 days. Not making excuses but to say WV winning after having 3 days off compared to CC’s 0 is funny to me.

No one has said anything about the players, they are great girls I know some of them. You all can twist it how you want and don't give me it will help them get better because pressing and winning by that much doesn't make you get better or makes you work on things, really. I don't care what school it is I coach can control most of the scoring. So your telling me that CCH only scored 7 points the whole second half and how did they accomplish that. I bet it wasn't because they shot bad.

They shot bad. Were you there? The majority of their shots from what I remember were from the 3 point line and they missed A LOT!

My dad coached plenty of D1 kids and all he needed was a T, whiffle balls and a bat. All those other things are just gimmicks in my opinion. Concentrate on fundamentals.

Not defensive at all. I could careless but you are the one who has brought it up in 1 post and then commented about it in 2 other posts. They are 15-1 and highly successful so something is working!

I highly doubt it for the CC/E-town game as we are in the auxiliary gym.

3 to 5 seems to be quite a stretch... not sure where that is coming from. Their top two are super solid, but I think the list of D1 players currently on that team stops at 2.... someone mentioned Stapleton, but that would be news if that is true.

I only said Lexi because I assumed that is who the poster meant.

Must have missed a signing from Campbell. Who is the 3rd D1 player they have? I know of 2 but didn't know of a 3rd.

Thats what transfers and starting 8th graders does to a team. Very disappointing, program is a mess after this year...

Why because CCHS graduates at least 2 D1 players (not sure what Stapleton is going to do) and 2 seniors quit? So it only hurts CCHS when they take a transfer but no one else?

To the Camel fans who did you think was better Covcath or Trinity?

CovCath, they were more disciplined when CC played them

They need to keep the core three (Correa, Altuve, and Springer), as long as those guys are there and they can keep piecing together a strong pitching staff, I don't see how this team doesn't win another WS or two before they go their separate ways.

Out of those 3 Springer in my opinion is the 1st to go with Tucker coming up. They will spend money on the ABC’s (Altuve, Bregman & Correa) to keep them.

Glad to see the Astros win. Perhaps the most fun team to watch in all of baseball and have 3 of the best young players in the game. Hopefully they can keep them all together. Congrats to any Astros fans, closet Astros fan, American League fans, and all baseball fans because if these past two years are any indication, baseball is back.

They lose Beltrán which would be amazing if he retired and became the bench coach with Cora going to manage the Red Sox. They also lose Maybin, Liriano, Gregerson and someone else but they return everyone else. Giles needs to figure out his ms talk thing but besides that they should be fun to watch next year. Going through those 3 100 lost seasons is so worth winning the WS. The City of Houston needed this with the destruction from Harvey.
