Great game for the Camels!! Young and getting stronger and better every day! Gross-18 points and 13 rebounds; Hegyi had 18 points; Beiting 20 points; Reinhardt 9 points. Homegrown boys!!!

...and this is why I will ALWAYS support Campbell County. They build their programs through the youth programs.

Pendleton Co is going to be good for quite some time. They are very young and well coached. Congrats to them.

Campbell's coach was taunting Brossart's girls. That's what I saw. I have been to ALOT of games in my lifetime and have never seen a head coach do what he did.

We must have been watching 2 different games. He never once taunted BBHS girls. He encouraged & coached his kids the whole game.

I’m still a little perplexed about the off setting personal fouls called after the Camels pick 6. How do you have off setting calls, but the Camels lose 15 yards? Took the officials 10 minutes, and several meeting of the minds on the field to make the call. Someone fill me in if you know the details.

This corps of officials seemed to struggle with a few calls on this evening.

I still don’t get it but what was explained was CC had to decline the penalty to keep the ball because if CC didn’t then it would offsetting and it would be a replay of the down (Conner’s ball). Due to the fact CC declined it then it was their ball at the spot of the interception then +15 yards because Conner accepted the penalty.

I still don’t get it because the penalty occurred AFTER the INT.

I saw softball state tourney is double elimination. Why isn’t baseball double elimination?

Not enough pitching plus I heard their state is moving to single elimination in the next few years. Also, baseball can play at awful city fields with break away fences too. The softball tournament venue is a joke and is not fitting for a state tournament.

Did the Camels throw Werrman? All the comments about the delays in playing this game was so Werrman could pitch/

No. Hoeh started Friday then Brooks pitched Saturday.

Campbell Co beat GRC 6-2 and Montgomery Co beat Brossart 2-0.

Good luck to the Camels. Great year and should of won. Tough break. Really enjoyed watching them play for the first time this year. Very very well coached and kids play their tail off. Not sure what grade Jolly is in but he’s a player. Easily one of the five to ten best I have seen in the games I have seen.

Jolly & Wilson are both juniors.

Most, if not all high schools in Northern Kentucky have a trainer from St. Elizabeth.

Okay. So 2 teams in the state felt this kind of lopsided victory could not be avoided. I bet there were at least 10 other games where the winner could have won by 70 points but chose not to.

Honestly, I don’t really care. When this happens in other sports (mainly football) people say, “The team has to work harder.” I am sorry but this is a varsity game and Region. Beau could have very easily left his 3 big starters in to begin the 2nd half but he didn’t. Mackenzie was 1 assistant away from a triple double and Taylor is less than 10 points from reading on here from 2500 career points. JV came in and did not press the whole half and they played the whole 2nd half.

None of those are 78 point losses.

I will give you none of them are 78 point lost, HOWEVER I don’t see an uproar on this score which is an 86 point difference in district tournament play...
