I think Hills gets the win this year. FHS stumbles this week.
-
Good job Flyers the better TEAM won. FHS is loaded and huge! FC d was effective offense was far from a machine. Both teams played tight at times in my opinion.
-
What's to prove? Neither have to face any team like the other in the playoffs. Bragging rights is all. Frankfort is very good considering their numbers but the weak district they play in (no fault of their own) doesn't help.
:laugh::laugh:
This guy, closet Flyer hater trying to give some material to the Panthers.

To me both teams have a lot to prove when it comes to being touted as a top team...in the state or their class, both will learn more about themselves after tonight, the rivalry and the pride of each team will bring out the best and the worst at times. I am looking for a barn burner.

Only dressed 24 in 2009.....Blocked 4 Punts, and scored 3 Defensive TD, final score was 28-13....Thats why they are The Durty 30, and Pound Per POUND The Best The Commonwealth has to offer....Heres the Question: Could FC or any other Foe on the Panthers Hit List beat them by dressing only 25? :sssh: Dont even bother aswering....:taz:
Did the 2009 team even win a game? I would love to see FCHS pick 25 kids and bring them tonight just to test this. Do you guys think they play that many more kids?

Not at all. Just pointing out facts about the Flyers and how dominate they have been in the series. If you or anyone else want to shy away from the Flyers dominating the Panthers then go ahead. Someone pointed out the Panthers should be favorite in the game I was saying not sure how. If you want me to I will say the Panthers are favorite. I have no proof why they should be. Will be no Different when the Panthers take on Beechwood they have dominated the Panthers over the years too.
You will never hear me say the Flyers are Goliath. I dont believe they are and never have. But stating facts such as FC has 480 boys in the school compared to 109 at Frankfort those are the facts. Doesnt mean anything other than they have more groceries to cook with.
I will take the ones being groom on the river.
10-4! Like you said all in good fun!

Never will you hear me pick against the Dirty 30.
Just trying to play up the David vs Goliath routine then I guess.
-
CoachB, you picking the Flyers to win then I guess? the big machine???
-
They've scored 91 points in two games... How would you describe their offensive success so far this season?
I would call them 2-0 vs two teams that are not very good. I would call them offensively effective.....
-
Hills takes no disrespect we will be over in a few weeks to show our side of the story??
-
No, that may be your interpitation, I just would not label them a scoring machine, maybe that is an attempt of pumping them up for your team. I dont know, but how can someone reading into what I post and quoting me talk about just play the game???

Does FC need their ego stroked?
Does FC need their ego stroked????? I don't get it?

Fifty of the state's top high school football players | High school football | Kentucky.com
Here is the list no one from FCHS is on this list.
-
Just going from the poll here on preps. Other than you CoachB there is no one really calling the flyers a scoring machine or above average as far as that goes. Frankfort has seemed to impress folks so far this year.
-
Panthers seem to be the favorite on BGP, what puts them ahead so clearly this year?? People seem to think the flyers are down and out?
-
Franklin County- 28
Oldham County- 0
I look for FC to look sharper this week win one game under their belt!
Watched the game on Cable 10 last night, FCHS far from polished. They also looked ridicuosly out of shape Cramps all game long. Not sure what Oldham has but they best get it together.

What does each team bring into the game this Friday in Franklin County.
-
If they gel into one of the best teams is yet to be seen I agree, but talent are those measurable things to me and they have 7-8 kids that have all the measurables to be considered one of the most talented teams...thats my opinion the subject was one that a FHS fan brought up to me. Over hype is not much different than sandbagging.:idunno:
-
I hear that FC has a good defense but I need to see it in person their track record is not exactly great in that area.
-
One of most talented in Central Kentucky...that is pretty specific.
-
Yep its a good idea but I would have rather seen some real football on this.
-
Got to see most the game, Hills was missing one of their best players as well the qb was out. Hope he can be back for next weeks game vs Franklin County. Hills has plenty of weapons this year should make some noise next few weeks and be very good come district time.
-
What a mess I feel for the kids and coaches at Doss, earlier in the year they had a coach have to go to the ER during the Western Hills 7 on 7. Water and health of players falls on the head coach he should have stopped the game and told officials to be on the safe side, tough spot to be in.
-
People around town are calling this Frankfort team one of the most talented in central kentucky no surprise here. I was hoping Lincoln could make a better showing! Congrats to the Panthers. My wolverines are skeered!!

Teach the kid to wrap up... alot of belly tackling and shirt grabbing by FHS, and it led to 3 penalties. Kids looked like arrows being shot helmet first all night in the secondary for them. Refs missed about 2-3 pass interference calls vs. the Panthers too as well as holding on most of the positive run plays they had. Take away all the false starts and illegal formations, motions and you have an even game on penalties. Coach B, you even mad about them making a bad call that benefited you!
