  1. I'm not sure of the best pitchers in the state, but I hear there is a very good lefty at Boone County who probably is the best left-handed pitcher in the 9th Region.
  2. Either one is fine with me. I absolutely love the sound of a ball hitting a wooden bat, but seeing the ball go farther with a metal bat is a definite plus as well. I personally think that wooden bats should be used for High School because it prepares players who might be playing at the next level and maybe beyond that as well......
  3. no sure about that but it definitely couldm make it or break it for some teams depending on the draw (if there is one  )
  4. Scott beat Campbell last year......... Scott JV beat Campbell twice last year. I don't think its gonna change because Scott gained more good players than they lost. Also there is no way the 10th region title will be given to anybody. Plus look for Scott to end Campbell's dreams of even getting to the regional tournament when they knock off the Camels in district's....... (just my opinion)
  5. yea but everyone is seeming to overlook Scott. might as well fight out for themselves.......... (and they will c what happens :fire: )
  6. Harrison will be challenged by the Eagles the next two years. the eagles will be stacked this year and the next.
  7. well i know for sure that the Scott '07 team will be one of the best, if not the best, in the 10th region. i can assure u........
  8. Aaron Bush of the Eagles went from playing Freshman ball as a Freshman, straight to playing Varsity as a sophmore. I believe most of the players will make the change easily and will do very well.
  9. Scott also has alot of returing varsity players and some VERY good sophmores and juniors that may make varsity since showcasing their skills the previous 2 years by winning the 2004 9th Regional Freshman Tourny and runner-up in the 2005 9th Regional JV Tourny (losing to Cov Cath 2-1 in 10 innings, great game by both teams).
  10. Last time I checked, Scott beat Camels twice last year....... and Scott is having some very good teams and players coming up from JV and freshman for the past two years. Camels will have to EARN the district title. Sounds like to me that u expect them to just walk on through the tourny and take the title.
  11. its great that the kid can throw that fast, but there is no way he could throw that speed the entire game. The faster you throw, the harder it affects ur arm. even major leaguers cant keep their fastest speed throughout the game. i just wonder how long this kid can last........ and i eventually think he will end up becoming a closer.
  12. never thought this topic (that i originally started) would be 3 pages long and posts r still counting, lol. a lil off topic but just thought id say that. but back to the main point..... i think scott will make a name for themselves in the 10th region next year by either winning the region or getting runner up. but thats just my opinion :ylsuper:
  13. Scotts Varsity team next year will be loaded with good juniors and seniors. Scotts varsity team next year will have 11 seniors and about 8 juniors. Should be fun to c how well they do in the 10th region. Scotts JV team next year will be decent. They will want their revenge against CovCath for their heartbreaking defeat in the 9th region finals, losing 2-1 in 10 innings. Scotts Freshman team will be hard to predict how well they will do in the new region. I dont know any of the players except Nick Hiller who is a pretty good pitcher.
  14. I am a Scott Eagle supporter and as u all know, Scott is entering the 10th region next year and will be new to all the teams. How well do u think scott will compare against the other 10th region teams and do u think they have a shot at winning the region?
