I am liking more and more how this team plays.
Play hard on defense and Foster Brooks is running a nice offense that is hard to guard for Meeks/Patterson.
No injuries and the younger players continue to develop and cut down on the TO's AND they get the right matchups in the draws and I think an Elite 8 run is VERY feasible.
Foster Brooks...thought for sure somebody would catch that one. Nice!
I'm still not sold on UK. The SEC is plain lousy. And I'm waiting for the inevitable injury that will derail us.
Second round. Ole Foster hasn't won a post-season game yet @ UK.

I know there are alot of other things involved in being a good president, but this issue always irks me, as well.
Absolutely right. There have been a number of pro-life candidates who would have made/have made for less-than-ideal presidents.
By the same token, I would think defending the most defenseless would be priority #1 for any American leader.

Some of that mess, is not really a mess and he doesn't need to change it.
Example A is the pending Executive Order that would allow tax money to be used to fund abortions. Reagan first denied it with an Executive Order. Bush-Dad continued the denial. Clinton allowed the state to pay for the killing of unborn children. Bush-son stopped it. The word is that O will allow our tax dollars to go back to funding the killing of unborn children through abortion.
Ugh....sickening

I don't want any US President to fail. I didn't vote for Obama, and never in my life will (unless he changes his viewpoint on certain issues), but I hope he is a good president.

I can see why UK is left out. The win at Tennessee, while a good one, is not necessarily an eye-opening win. UT is good, but not nearly as good as we once imagined. And Georgia...well, they're just awful. But as MSUEagles said, just keep winning.

If it would work out that way, history tells us we beat Utah and lose to Marquette.

I honestly thought Georiga would play Kentucky much tougher than this. This is one of the worst Coach Felton coached teams I have ever seen. His days are numbered at Georgia IMO.
Couldn't agree more. I knew Georgia wasn't good, but expected them to play like a Felton-coached team--aggressive, solid "D", in-your-face. But they looked totally disinterested in playing yesterday. I thought UK would win, and win ugly, and win close. I never expected a blowout on UK's end, and never expected such a half-hearted effort on Georgia's end.

Certainly James from Marquette & Chris Hill from Michigan State.
Jeff Brassow, though not an upper-tier player, seemed to be @ UK forever. I've always referred to these types of players as being on "The Jeff Brassow Scholarship."
Wasn't there a John Caylor from Auburn back in the 80's, maybe early 90's? I think he was around for 6-7 years.
Patrick Ewing, just because he was so dominant (and played four years) seemed to be around forever too.

A few observations from yesterday's game:
* The return of the turnover was killer for UK. Hopefully, the talking heads will quit praising the Cats for reducing that number (since that happened b/c of weaker competition the last several games).
* BCG's "T" completely changed the landscape of the game. What were you thinking, Coach? Your team spent the last part of the 1st half coming back, and the first part of the second half doing the same. And what do you do? Get T'd up when they finally get their first lead. Boneheaded move. Momentum shifted, and we spent the remainder of the game playing catch-up.
* Sosa made a low-percentage shot. I can live with him hitting it. I thought Porter defended it the way he should have. I certainly don't blame him for allowing a 20% 3-point shooter to get off a 26 or 27-footer. But kudos to Sosa for finally being relevant...and clutch.
* Where's Slone?
* Harrellson looked like a lost puppy out there today. Disappointing, because I've felt he could be that elusive "third scorer."
* UK has to get consistency with the "3" from someone other than Meeks. Defenses will collapse on Patterson if we don't.
* A great, but sloppy basketball game. Hated the outcome, but have to give credit where credit is due--which is to Louisville.
Why I Didn't Vote, And Never Will, For Obama

"Get used to" butchering babies? No thanks.
As far as labeling me a one-issue voter, so be it. You could be pro-life and still not get my vote. Ron Paul was pro-life, but I wouldn't have voted for him. Mitt Romney CLAIMED to be pro-life, but I wouldn't have voted for him either.
But if you're pro-abortion, you will not get my vote under any circumstance. So I guess I am a one-issue voter in that respect, and I make no apologies for it. If the pols aren't going to defend the most innocent and vulnerable lives, someone must.
