Brian Simmons out... Joey Porter in!!! Go Bengals!

We need a legit tightend in the worst way. I think we could only benefit from having a proven one. Just ask Brady, Rivers, or Peyton if they think a good tightend is a neccessity!

In Dayton, Lickert dropped out,
In single A, the fans will shout.
Last year they earned a playoff berth,
This year, they come back to Earth.
Losing Lickert will be a step back,
It is morale that they now lack.
Good Luck to Steve in his new place,
He'll need it in the tough 5A race.
You definitely dont have a hot wife,
Cause you absolutely have no life.

Here's the link from today's game. Another good pitching performance from everyone that threw. Bats were a little quiet but still managed to put up 6 runs. The HBP count is at 20 thru 9 games.

Just wait until everyone in Lexington figures out about the right field deck!! It will be more crowded than a Thursday night at Two Keys Tavern!!

another solid pitching performance by Duran Ferguson and some clutch hitting by Mike Brown and Sean Coughlin!!

be at good fit at UK? I think the people in Lexington are always up for a good event, and Coach Pearl would never disappoint when it came to putting on a show!! For example, tonight the legendary Coach Pat Summit came on the floor in a cheerleading outfit and sang Rocky Top and did some other things. You would think that the class and prestige of a coach like this would not allow her to do this, but because of coach Pearl coming to the womens game and supporting them like a student, his enthusiasm was contagious enough to do this to coach Summit.

There might not be a deal in Covington with Mr. Lickert at the present time but I did hear up at the Pub that Gamer31 cut a long term deal in Lex this past weekend. Congrats Gamer31:thumb:
Life long contract, terms were not disclosed, but options are not an option anymore!!!
-
I just spoke with the best source possible and there is no deal at the present time!

Maybe another Bret Hamblem type kid getting ready to suit it up for the Birds next year. Kids name is Kevin Duenas, wow! Lighting Speed and Quickness and a tough one to boot. One of those kids that will play multiple roles for the Birds.
Man that kid can bunt!!!
-
Thats the best news I've heard all day!! If anyone can get them all on the same page and accomplish great team goals, its Steve!!
-
I think we consider it more sharing the wealth!!! It gets old when you win as many titles as HHS has. After a while you have to change things up and create new challenges.
-
I know defense is a no brainer, but what about adding a lights out tightend to the offense. Guys like Pillip Rivers and Peyton Manning would attest. I think the Olsen kid out of the U would be a nice addition. Too bad we defense!
-
HERE, HERE Marty!!!!! Where I'm from they would call that hitting the nail on the head!
-
Now lets go out and get a solid #3!!!!
-
first UK recruit in a LONG time that takes the ball to the HOLE hard and likes to shoot as well!
