For baseball i know he is, and probably football too.

He's pretty much Boone's top player... last year in his first playoff game he had 321 yards rushing.. and led the distric in rushing yards (1,635) and this year's scrimmage he ran back the opening kickoff vs beechwood. Anyways go boone!

Yeah he's played catcher since 8th grade and he is good at it too. He's already recieved letters from the Milwaukee Brewers about summer camp and another professional team but i forget who. This kid will go D1 is baseball. Guarantee it!! and he could go probably go D1 is football (everyone knows he plays RB,QB,P,K,WR,CB and had 321 yards rushing in his 1st playoff game- he was only like 45 yards shy of breaking Alexanders Boone County record) but he loves baseball and playing in the major league is his dream. Not to mention he started Varsity basketball this past season too, but rumors are he is quitting basketball to focus on baseball and football.

What a shocker! :banana: Cory Farris goes 2-3 with 2 home runs and 3 RBI. He now has 8 home runs and this Sophomore has led the varsity team in HRs his 8th grade year, 9th, and right now he has 8 and second place to him is Brad Khroman with 4. Farris is batting .501, 29 stolen bases, 31 RBI, and 6 triples. This kid is the Shaun Alexander of baseball for Boone County, maybe even football too :sssh:

Boone County and Highlands!

Boone- Nell Fookes (won 9th region with only one senior, and started 2 frosh) and player i would have to say Joana Switzer... she was Boone County's 6th man and she had a huge shot in the Holy Cross game to tie it with just 20 seconds left.

Congrats lady rebels!!! 4th consecutive trip to the regional finals and has won 2 (should be 3 but lost on a buzzer beater last year)... Next year should be exciting as well!

what a game!! i was there and Boone was only down 6 at halftime but Holmes took a 14 point lead and thats when i thought Boone was done but Sophomore Cory Farris took over in the final minutes of the fourth. He hit the tieing basket at the buzzer to force ot and in the 2nd he made a tough lay up with just seconds left. In the 2nd ot Junior Chris Bray had 2 free throws with 11 seconds left and it was tied up 74-74, he missed the first but made the second and Holmes couldn't score as time ran out!!! 75-74 !
