Those three coaches are wishful thinking and none of the three will be the head coach at Garrard County.
Hide and watch, Booby! Hide and watch! You are so wrong.
-
Jerry Perry will be hired if he wants the job.

Thanks. It looks like this could go either way, but I'm hoping the Royals surprise some people!
I suppose the Mississippi River "could go either way", but it hasn't yet. My opinion is totally objective. Hide and watch!

IMO Bourbon is much to strong for a Mason team that has played a very weak schedule. The Colonels have had a running clock in every game and that streak continues. Make it something like 59-14.

To answer your question in one word - YES.
-
With Bryan Station and Bowling Green being canceled this weekend, will both schools look for another game? I know Bryan Station is looking for an opponent with an open date on September 20 (ahem, Madison Southern, ahem). No one in Kentucky with only nine games has the same open date as Bowling Green. Will the Purples look out of state or will they just be content with a nine game schedule?
Would that result in too many regular season games for Madison Southern?

GC wins by a bunch - 30+

Hope I'm wrong, but I got a hunch LCA will win this one. Make it a 27-14 upset.
-
Back in the day, this was a BITTER rivalry. If the ADS are focused after emotional win over REBS, they will win. REDHOUNDS have played a tough schedule and will compete. Make it Danville 32-20

Agree or Disagree?
Is Belfry too high or too low?
Are we missing anyone?
The GOLDEN LIONS gotta be in there somewhere. No RESPECT!
-
We have a good one here at Garrard County in 6' 2" 190 lbs Billy Abney. Next fall (2012) will be his fourth as the starting QB for the Golden Lions.
-
We'll be there proudly wearing our Rebel Black and Gold. Proudly supporting the Lions.
Great! Love having your support!

Two choices but I recommend 102.9 FM (simulcast on 105.9).
Wonder why?

Probably my last post this week as I set out for travel.
I want to wish Good Luck to Garrard County and hope that everyone gets to witness a competitive, well officiated, well executed game that is free of injuries.
I already know you are all very proud of your team, and win or lose I just want to say that I tip my hat to your program and think that this won't be your last Semi-Final appearance with the coach you have. I challenge you to continue to show your support and build off of it in the seasons to come. Belfry is the perfect example of what a football program can achieve when you have a great coach and the entire community supporting the team. Success breeds success!
As for the game itself, I anticipate Garrard to come out and give Belfry all they care to handle. I think ultimately Belfry's depth, size, and big game experience prove to be the difference though.
I'll take Belfry 33-20. In a game that stays within a TD until the 4th Quarter.
Thanks for the words of encouragement, 'Cat! Hope you are wrong about the final score. Ha! Here's to a safe trip to all from "Pirate Nation". See you at Dyehouse!

Belfry will prove to be too much for the Golden Lions. 49-7
Ouch!

In this day and age we should be thankful for anything that makes our children happy. This is one of those times. Happy Thaksgiving to all BGPers.
Well stated!

Garrard's first Thanksgiving practice this week. I believe I heard Coach Scenters say 8am but I'm not for sure. I have no idea if it is public or not.
Indeed, the 8am is correct. Mark Scenters never has a practice to which the public is invited. That is his 'classroom' time.

All I can say is that Garrard and Rockcastle played here in 1995 and it was the largest crowd I've ever seen at Dyehouse Stadium. Guessing, I would put the number at 5,000 people. The stadium/grounds held it fine, although everyone was snug. I still am confident that everyone will fit fine come Friday night.
I respectfully disagree with that 5,000 guess. Might have been 2500-2800 max. Dyehouse only seats 1,800 in total. That's collectively on both sides (approx 450 on visitors side).

You guys read into that too much... I am saying I am anticipating a very festive and unique atmosphere and the setting may be able to provide that unlike most other stadiums.
Right on! It'll be unique indeed.
