Y’all have to remember the super will control this hire IMO. I doubt he’d want to hire 2 coaches…. I don’t think foley applies or leaves SW for PC. JMO. The names I’ve heard JF isn’t one of them.

Well going back on the KHSAA website as far as it currently goes which is 24 years back to the 1999 tournament. This is only the 2nd time they have not won the 44th district title the other was 2017. So 22 out of the last 24 districts is pretty impressive, that being said it is one of the weakest districts in the state as well.
Has to be the weakest tbh.

I think Payne flips this faster than most think. The kids are buying into him from what I’m told. A lot of differences from what they are used too. The offense will be much better I think, as they have some kids who can play. The OL/DL should be a strong point for them. Find some play makers and stay healthy will help, obviously. Tough schedule but I’m a Mark Payne fan, and he’s putting together a nice staff it seems.

This is an extremely tough job. Resources, support etc…. A lot of hills to climb here.

Yes he was at LG. He was also in admin I believe at a private school for a while.
-
Correct…. He just finished his move.

For all that Coach Larkey did at NL… they didn’t appreciate him! To worried about 🏀. Hopefully the new coach can continue to flip the attitude on that.

I’m hearing a potential hire has been made.

The hire is finishing up some things and I’d guess expect an announcement first of the year.

So has that district…..woof

This is what I've heard as well. School not willing to commit to what is needed.
Yep! The leadership at the school currently is very academic based and won’t break the bank for sports. The principal at Ms and at Mc are in a rat race to see who can get to the BOE office first. So, that makes it all interesting as well.

From what I know… the 3 they went for said NO. I’ve heard a few different back up, back up candidates.

I’d be shocked to see Spencer leave Lincoln. Shocked….

If they dont hire the right coach, I wouldn't be surprised if you see Qusinberry at Boyle County.
With Tices tie to Lincoln, I’d guess he might end up there before he would Boyle. Who knows? Depends on the hire I guess. Although I’m sure Boyle would set him up nicely…….

Not a more incompetent group than the KHSAA. Sorry Not Sorry.

Wow, that would be a get if he still has the drive.
That will be the question along with support, and who he can get to come in.....

Talked to someone this morning who said they had heard a decision is coming this week. Said he is hearing Mike Holcomb as a possible hire.

Field conditions have contributed a lot to this.

Josh Roberts was the DC for Hines I think for a while. I'm pretty sure GJ didn't even apply.
