It actually made for a great Thanksgiving visiting Log Mountain that year. Unfortunately or fortunately from your perspective, the KHSAA changed the rules and playoff games can no longer be played on Thursday.

We made that trip...got some interesting looks from out of town visitors as to what the heck was going on...but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do!

Running off the kids didn't help...

I agree. Maybe the North endzone should just be made into a corral?! I played there as a kid, I have watched kids play there since...but I do agree with the fact that it was somewhat tough to get through without being bounced into, or knocked over. Im a fairly decent sized guy so it wasnt a big issue for me, but the wife and kids....a different story!

This attendance issue has been the case for years. This year is especially bad. First round of the playoffs, you could have shown up to the game at any point from kick off through the final cannon and still gotten a very nice seat on the 50. For a town that prides itself so much on the football program, and rightfully so, the fans can definitely be pathetic at times! Get off your duff and support these kids!

I had the same thing happen to me several months ago. It hurt when I tried to close my jaw down enough to clinch my teeth together. I dealt with it and it finally went away so I thought. Turns out it came back later just not as bad. The last trip to the dentist I asked about it and sure enough...he said I see all kinds of evidence of you grinding your teeth. Long story short...have to get a night guard, and they ain't cheap!!

Same as many...we usually start Black Friday, after we get done shopping of course. We usually leave them up until New Years day and spend the day taking everything down, after the shopping is over again of course! :creepy:

What would/should a head coach do when the team mom is openly bashing the head coach to the players and won't send out positive e-mails-only negative ones, the webcast play by play guy constantly has a negative tone in his webcasts, a parent and former peewee coach takes his assessment of the coaching staff to the AD and constantly spreads uninformed negative propaganda, and a former equipment guy openly bashed the head coach on the sideline of a game??????????

 

Three of the four no longer have kids at the school, but their mission in life is to destroy the head coach due to disliking him from the beginning, holding a grudge against him because his son got beat out at a position in previous years, and the fourth one is mad because he was told he was not welcome in the program because he tried to fire a new head jr. high coach with no authority to so.

I would love to have DirecTV for the NFL ticket but my experience with Insight HD has been good. One complaint I have is that the DVR is very slow to react way too often. Is it true that they have a new model and I can have my old one replaced without charge?

We just moved and got the new DVR. I experienced the same thing you speak of with the old system, very slow to respond, etc. The new system is upgraded quite a bit...the issue is still however present when it comes to reaction time. You get a bigger HDD so you can record additional programming, as well as two tuners so you can record two shows at once, but the speed issue was not resolved!

Depends on the day and season. I carry an extremely accurate yet cheap Bersa 380 sometimes, or my baby a Kimber Tactical Ultra II .45. 3" so still fairly easy to conceal...especially in the cooler months.

Defintely sucks. I am also wonder how they will handle the Cincy show. How are they going to swap out tickets considering the original show was at Riverbend and now they are listing the new show at US Bank Arena. I have two sets of tickets, 2 in the PIT and 2 in section 100 so I will be REAL interested in how this plays out!!
